With 14 inches of snow last night My day was filled thrashing about with clearing the yard. Just one picky tonight. Managed to get some more interior painting done and added more straps and chipping. That's it for now. ACW

As always Boys, your comments are well taken Here's a question. Would it be plausible that this thing would be carrying WW2 style German Jerry Cans?

Don't see why not Jeff, they could have been taken off an abandon or destroyed vehicle.

See, that's the thing Leon. I'm not a rivet counter by any means but this version, the V wasn't put into service until 1955. That's why I asked. I'd kinda like to be close

No sweat brother L. All I'm saying is if it's possible then I'm good with it. If you're interested here's the Wiki link en.wikipedia.org/wiki/BTR-152There's a lot of info there.

I don't think it could be possible. Unless you are depicting some middle eastern 152, as many ME countries used german AFVs during immediate post war.

Check out the jerry cans in the back on the right hand side... FOR REF PURPOSES ONLY Wouldn`t mind doing this variant meself if they did the basic kit in a respectable size, wouldn`t take much to convert the back end

It would be pretty easy to do, you're right. There's a pretty good spread of this on Primeportal. It's on display at the Latrun Armored Corps Museum in Israel. And I'll ignore the"if they made this kit in a respectable size" comment

ROTFFLMAO!!! Anyway.......was they the right ferkin` jerry cans or not!! What Jerry cans?.........No wait don't leave. Yes those are the ones. I guess my question is, would a Russian 152 in 1955 carry them?

Thanks for the input Dicky, I'm still undecided if I will use them or not. I did get some more done today though. Pinwash and a light wash, wood grain on the jump seats and put some age on the seats. It's pretty subtle but if you look at the front which is untouched you should be able to see the difference. I'm working on some stowage we'll see how they turn out.
