Great job Re the PE, I find useful PVA glue to attach PE to clear styrene.

Another trick you can use AJ to glue PE is to use Future like a glue, just let capillary action take the Future under the PE piece and hold it in place for a few seconds until the Future 'grabs' and voila! PE glued, no stains/crazing/fogging.
