These FINALLY came in yesterday. Thank god. Should start going down on my G-10 tomorrow night (need another coat of gloss...) And over lunch, I picked this bad boy up at the LHS with a 20% off coupon that brought it basically in line with what Sprue Bros. is charging.

Yep...found some stuff in today's mail: I blame the 38(t) GB for making me pick up the 35(t)...couldn't pass it up for 10 bucks. The T2 Tank I've been wanting since it came out - got it for a similarly crazy Black Friday steal! Need to start planning the wiring diagram now. Can't build that one without the spotlights done up right. I've been nursing a cart at Industria Mechanika for months - finally pulled the trigger with his BF special. Man I love his stuff. Would buy two of everything if money wasn't an option!

That T2 would be fun to build... you will have my attention when you start it!

That T2 would be fun to build... you will have my attention when you start it! Really want to do a dio with this, so I'm waiting for Pegasus to release their matching set of 1/32 T-800 Endoskeletons - unfortunately that looks like it won't be until March. Maybe I'll crack into this in February and hope that they come out on time?

Per 4bogreen's recommendation, I got the following used off of Ebay. Only briefly glanced at it here after the postman delivered it at work.........but damn it's cool.

Just got this in the mail today. Yeah, I know... so what, it's old and outdated. But I didn't buy it really to build but to get some measurements off of for my 1/16 build. I read the reviews and it IS very lacking... like the back side of the roadwheels have no detail, just there's nothing there. THIS kit will get me there and at a sweet price too and I may later on replace the wheels and get some PE for it and sit it next to my current Marder III I built back in 2003 that started me back into modeling. Besides, I kind of have grown an affection for the Marder H. Jeff

Some interesting new additions to the stash - even as I'm trying really aggressively to reduce it. Think my New Years resolution is going to be to only buy new kits (and be judicious about them...why oh why did I but Trumpeter's A-37A Dragonfly when I really want the A-37B, which is coming out soon?) The OH-58D is Academy plastic with some resin updates. I've also got the Zactomodels set for it. I've always loved scouts, and with the Kiowa slated for retirement seems a fitting thing to build one. The BM-13N is...holy crap. Exhaustive is probably a good word. At first blush it feels like it has more parts than their BM-21 GRAD. There are even multiple parts for the DRUM BRAKES on the wheels. Only downside I'm seeing, aside from the complexity, is the presence of vinyl tires.

Nice - the Mazda3 is a fantastic car. I would've gone for the hatch, though, since for some reason I absolutely hate trunks.

Nice ride. We have got one of the CX-somethings. It makes a great offspring carriage. I've been really impressed with recent Mazdas. I took a peek at the 6 when we got the SUV and it was nice.

Went to the LHS yesterday looking for the new Kitty Hawk Bronco. No dice. Somehow found this in my hands when I got to the car...

YOU are one buying machine! Time to duplicate yourself to get these built! LOL (I face the same dilemma) Jeff Model companies need to stop making so many awesome new kits! That and I've recently sold like $500+ in stash deadweight, with probably another $500 to come as I clear out 1/48 props and various "I'm comfortable enough to admit I will never build this" kits. My modeling New Years resolution is to only buy new kits, and be more judicious about the ones I do buy. Already putting it into practice - despite the WANT indicator buzzing in my brain, I've managed to pass on the Zoukei-Mura Ho 229, the 1/32 Ar 234, Wingnut W.12, Trumpeter T35 and a few others.

Yeah, I have suddenly faced that too. I need to sell many of mine off as well... because I know I will never build them and have lost interest in them over time. But the new ones (like the Meng A7-V) I just gotta have now! Jeff

I've to have done the ol' out with he old and in with the new. It's like rotating that canned goods on the shelf. Eventually you'll be selling what ya just got for what's hot at that time. But for the here and now.... nice stuff!

Not the greatest pic. Just received my Lone Star Model's Ryan PT-20 Pit. Only need the back half as I am doing one the single seaters.
