Very nice Marc! For some reason I have the words to "I can believe I can fly..." in my mind when I look at those rear deck hatches.

Thanks Pete Got the little mutt to the end of the weathering cycle. I was thinking it was going to be a bit blotchy but it all blended in well enough for me. The pinwash is a bit subtle but better than stand out garish I think. Now for muffler dust and dirt Regards, Mark Very well done Mark . Just enough color in your pin wash to bring out the details . Being able to see the innards is a big plus for viewing .

Thank you kindly everyone Naturally, this has grown some lately, I can't ever seem to leave well enough alone. The latest phase No the paint bottle will not be permanent...Probably have to weather the MC by airbrush; it's so delicate I'm almost afraid to touch it. Me and my big ideas. Gonna need some building rubble also, anyone know if such things are commercially available? Regards, Mark

Like where this one's headed Mark! Nice idea to go with showing all the hatches open on the tank. I hear you about the MC, they aren't that big to begin with and I'm sure have plenty of delicate parts once finished.

Thanks gents Tony-It's hard to keep up with all that's going on here I miss stuff all the time Armorguy-Had to dream up a suitable setting for the vehicle to be opened up thus G-Well, the thing under the stairs is one of those German secret weapons that did not pan out The base is of course by MiniArt, and it was rather labor intensive...At least for a guy like me who's not had a lot of experience with vacuform kits. By the time I'd finished the walls I took one look at the ductwork and into the garbage bucket it flew to be replaced with sheet styrene which was a whole lot easier to deal with. Yak yak finally got the basecoats and oil work done A couple five days drying time and I'll seal it with acrylic clear and begin the filters and washes Regards, Mark

Thanks gents I am not over practiced at doing buildings so this is kind of trial and error for me. Luigi, this is about 8 1/2 x 9 1/2 inches (21.5 x 24 cm)so it's really not all that big; there's some vehicles that you'd have a hard time fitting on this if you followed the no overhang rule

It never ceases to surprise me how figure sets seem to have less than great fit, perhaps there are mold constraints I am unaware of. Anyhow, got my little Krauts assembled, filled and primed It's just occurred to me that I've mounted heads on sticks. How medieval of me Regards, Mark

LOL! Loved the heads on sticks... figures look superb. Some Dragon figure sets are pretty good and you pay only half or even third of those resin sets that comes with only one or two figures!

Maybe the bad fit is intentional to allow for various positioning of the extremities ?

Heads on spikes! Got to love it...especially since I just finished watching Game of Thrones Season 3. Nice set of figures you've got working there Mark.

Dunno why, but all the figures I've done had the same fit issue. It must be a moulding choice to make the arms and legs interchangeable between different subjects...
