Leon - really? How many did you crank out last year?

I would ask one small favor though Dupes, instead of listing them all on the first post of the thread only, can you also post the pics up as new posts as the thread advances along? Reason I say that is that as the year goes on and people comment on the new additions, the thread will get very long and not all members navigate the forums in the 'traditional' sense as there are multiple ways to see/browse posts depending on their preferences.

You mean like put a pic of finished build number three right here:
FINISHED BUILD NUMBER THREE (if it were finished)
As well as on the front summary page? Or are you talking individual threads for each build?

Or are you talking individual threads for each build? Yep, exactly what you described. You could also do separate threads for each build if you wanted but that's not what I was suggesting .

Gotcha gotcha. Yeah, that's no problem at all. Individual threads for each, as much as I'd like to, would eat up too much bench time. Going to do as many as I can, but they certainly all won't get the "full treatment"!

Dupes, 50 finished is boatload of plastic. That's a pretty aggressive goal. Great to have a goal but don't burn yourself out and lose your mojo for modeling. Would hate to see that happen. Rick

Rick Yeah, I hear you. That's really my only worry (well, that and abandoning my family to the wolves while I'm down in the spray booth for hours at a time! ). I DO have an awful lot of 25-75% complete shelf queens that I'd love to bang out, though, and this would be PERFECT motivation to do it. Worst case scenario I end up with 30 or 40 new entries to the display case and make a LOT more room on the bench downstairs in the process!

Wookiees are too smart to be taken down by a droid...now clone troopers, on the other hand. What's up next? #4 looms.

Eight days? What the heck? I thought I was on like day four! Here IS number four - 1/72 Monogram X-15. Cool little build, I love the stand. Wish more kits came with stuff like that. Makes it a bear to photograph, though - no good way to get both gas tanks in the shot.

Come on! You didn't build it... you probably bought it on eBay or at some gift shop! Way too fast I can barely keep up with you now my friend! LOL
Yes I agree about nice base... wish all wingy kits come with those somewhat. I will do my best to keep up with you... what is next?

Come on! You didn't build it... you probably bought it on eBay or at some gift shop! Now where would the fun be in THAT??? Yes I agree about nice base... wish all wingy kits come with those somewhat. Turns out that Airfix makes some stands - some of which hold multiple builds (if you're into smaller 1/72 prop jobbies). Going to grab a couple and see how they are. I will do my best to keep up with you... what is next? Hmmmm, next finish will prooooobably be the 1/35 TKS I've been plugging away on (at the same time as doing this kit). What else is close...Tamiya Char Bis, the Wirbelwind, an M577 (yeah, look it up).

Yeah, way back when, a lot of companies had those neat ball and socket stands letting you display at various angles. I liked them.
Nice finish on the X-15, Dupes. I believe that's the same type as the one they have at the Air Force Museum in Ohio.

flipping heck! 4 builds and the months not even finished! terrific work and output Dupes me old mucker I think "flipping heck" is my new favorite phrase. Adopting as much Brit slang as I can with all of the time I spend hanging out here! Four days left in January...I should be able to put something else on the shelf, right?

Yeah, way back when, a lot of companies had those neat ball and socket stands letting you display at various angles. I liked them. Same! Wish they still did that. Gear down is nice and all, but sometimes it's fun to put something "in flight". Heck, how about including pilots, too?

Not only that, but it also increases your display space by getting so the air. Pilots? We don't need no stinkin' pilots! Everything is a UAV now! ...but seriously, how much would it add to the price of a kit to include one?
