Thnx Bill. I added some base colors to the cobbles & wall parts. Next add some oils, pigments and some airbrush postshading. Exotic detail; the Light blue Vallejo color smells like bubblicious chewing gum. ( ) Never smelled that before. Marcel.

Absolutely lovely paint work on that JP, a level I despair of reaching myself any time soon. Base layout looks great

Thnx folks, glad you like it. Glued the "blue" parts on the base and started weathering those pieces. Here's a quick & dirty shot of the wip: Still need to add loads of layers (brick stones, brick rubble, wood etc...). Cheers, Marcel.

That base is killer. Comp is perfect and your color variation just adds the right amount of W O W factor. Tony lee

Wow this is spectacular. I agree about the base too. The compisition is great and the blue from the sign breaths life into the whole thing.

Need to build 80 kits per year until I'm 100 to deplete my stash. Maybe I should sell a couple.

Looks really nice as it is, but that base is a great argument for an articulating suspension and workable tracks.

Thnx folks.
Thnx. Didn't want to go the "usual" grey way and want to add some contrast between the JP IV monster and a sweet hotel/restaurant.
Yep. I didn't know either.
My thoughts as well during the base building. But it's a little too late now. I just started to build this JPIV without a diorama plan or concept in mind. It just came along the way. Lesson learned and perhaps adding real suspension & Friuls to a next project.
Marcel.

Nearing completion this one. 1 Fig painted but still need a dust layer to blend with the JP. The end is nearing. Marcel.
