Very nice Jimmy. Great start. Agree 100% on Photo Bucket. Editing function doesn't work even if you replace original.

Lol. Thanks...yeah when she has her face pressed against glass like that there may be some resemblance...in normal configuration she's all her momma though.

No, Dicky you're right. Sometimes I'm content with making sh!t out of what comes in the box, and sometimes I make scratch sh!t.

Jimmy, I'm really likin' where your at with this one. Great views on the pre-shading. I like doing mine the same way. great recovery on the uppers too where you had to do some paint repair. The lighting issue with the gear looks almost like tungsten lighting. Were you using standard light bulbs? That would explain the yellow cast with the daylight white balance. Sometimes using a combination of artificial light and window light will do all kinds of funky things too.
She's turning into a real beauty. Looking forward to more.

After taking last night off from the bench it was back to paintwork tonight. Nothing special, did shading on the Dark Earth color: Then it was time to use some poster tack and get the green down. I know a lot of people do the whole subject at once, but I work in sections...makes it easier I think. All done Of course it looks goofy with the Earth shaded and the green opaque...so some shading: Had to do a few touch ups of both the top and bottom colors, but now it's time to move on to masking and painting insignia and markings. As always, thanks for looking in.
