Great idea to depict the tram as a war victim, why is this not my idea (d*mn !)
Best regards ! AG.

Thank you Petr! For the kind words and the wake up call. I need to get moving on this one again...now!! Best guess, this might possibly be a Triebwagen 641 used in the Ukraine...but nothing confirmed there.

Thanks for all the information Petr! The interior shots in the first link are great to have for someone building one of these things!! Stalingrad Figs has some awesome items...the Tram included!! I have a couple more pieces to install on a Bradley I am working on and then this makes it back to center bench!!

Well, its not a whole heck of a lot but it is progress! I changed the direction of the damage from the back to the front as well as placing a couple figures to break things up. Well, it is what I am thinking right now anyway...LOL!! So, I guess this one might be quite literally "set in stone". I have a bunch more to do on this yet. Some missing panels and a whole lot of rubble and debris to go...part of which I will have to either make some bricks or do a little outsourcing. Thank for taking the time to swing by!!

Nice way to show off all that underside detail Todd, looks like the perfect 'rubble' scene/layout to me.

How did I miss this excellent display of modelling skills? Oh, I know: it's not soviet WWII armour rofl-roll. Love your work, the composition of the Dio is exemplary!

Todd
I see you and Bill are still doing a yeoman's job on keeping the site going in its excellent format. The Tram brings a unique feel to this hobby as we so often build chariots of war that often show what the warriors dealt with but there is the very real side of the non-combatants who suffered greatly and that Tram shows some of what that must have felt like.

Thanks Bones!! I appreciate the kind words and comments! I am happy to see there is a message, albeit small as it is, shine though on a build. BTW... Bill has been enjoying the lavish lifestyle of the Web-runners retirement...building and enjoying himself doing so. Just in case all hell breaks loose...you know who to blame!!

Time for a quick one..... Whilst I wait for some molds I ordered for making some bricks! I did manage to get the figures underway! All the figs received a clean primer coat of black from Vallejo After the black I added a dusting of white. THis breaks the black tone showing details better as well as aiding in some shading and light direction. Next on deck will be some skin painting! This time around, I will have a go with AK's Flesh and Skin Colors set. I am letting the primer coat cure up and will have a go with the skin tone...wish me luck!! Thanks for tuning in!!
