Hey fellas!! Why not?!! LOL!! I do have way to much on the move so what is one more?? Well, this would be then!! Figured it was time to get this one started. MiniArt's 1/35 European Tram! Well, I am still undecided what to do with this as for finished layout, but since the kit boasts over 600 pieces I think I have some time to think about that!! So with that, here is where I am at as of last Thursday when I cracked the kit. The Kit I started on the undercarriage. The kit is, umm, slightly over-engineered whereas there are 114 parts to the undercarriage trolley. Almost done with this section, but I think it was a good starting point. I have several projects on the move and am anticipating this to be a long term project but there should not be too much lag-time between updates. Thanks for stopping by and having a look see!

That undercarriage doesn't look complicated or anything. Hope you can see it after it's finished!

Those pictures alone give me a headache! 600 pieces... that's enough to drive a man crazy. But, all sanity aside, this should look great when it's done! I'm on board, with a few Aspirin.

WOW! 600 pieces I wondered where they will be... ahhh the bottom!?
Glad you are having fun with this as I remember you telling me you were looking forward to this. Now I hope you have plenty of female civilians for this do you?

Awesome, I'm in for the duration!
Seen a few built now and nobody has risked anything too taxing, such as a T-34 bursting through the middle............

Conor - Glad to have you on board!! I have Advil, will that help? The parts are organized nicely so far, just a lot of really really...really unneeded pieces is all. If the carriage here was molded in the right way I think the 88 pieces you see altogether so far would have been cut in half. AnDee - Thanks for hitching a ride!! Well, at least 15% of the parts are down there!!! LOL!!! Should be a FUN one. As for the Female Civilians, tried that, the wife asked why I had all of the women over!! Dan - Thank buddy! Happy to have you hanging around! Nicely molded kit and a somewhat useful subject too. Let's see where I can go with it!!! Andy - Always a pleasure to have you riding the bus!! Thanks for keeping tabs on me, I might need it!! Mence - Thanks for loitering for a bit M8!! Looking to find out that potential soon!! BJ - Thanks Bro! You know you are on the local route for stops!! I liked that thought! Jim Rae over on the Big A posted a great pic on Bill Cross Review of one of these knocked out with a Shermie nestled in along side!! Nice mojo builder for sure!! Anthony - Two rides in one day...LOL!! Thanks again!! Jeff - Thanks! I think you might be right sir!!! Ivan - Seen you sneak in there...thanks for dropping in!! Vlad - It's a joy you could make it!! No guarantees but I do like risks!! Deano - Nice to know!! Thanks for tuning in brotha'!! With that, I will plot my next move. With everything else on the bench at the moment I can pick away at this and see what comes about. Plenty of options to go on for sure!! Let's see if I can reduce the part count any!!

Thanks Dicky! 'Long Term' in case some things get in the way, I do not need to rush!! I like the term imaginative!! Fitting!! As for the space for a vehicle in front...or could be in!! LOL!! Doubt that at the moment but anything is possible!!

Nice take on this monster. It's a kit I will surely do some time in the future.
Anyway, can I ask you a favour? I need the internal distance between the wheels...

Hello All, Time for a little update on this one! Did I mention there was "a lot of pieces" to this one? LOL!! I think too many but it is what it is! I was still plugging away at the undercarriage which lead into the platform of the car. Here is the carriage in the final construction stage: I was a bit off in my calculation of parts until this point earlier...there are 106 pieces here! Moving forward there are many more to the suspension work needed for under the platform. This is a 2-piece platform design and both halves are identical so everything needs to be built "X2". But just when you think that you are done....more parts!!!!! . Things do have a way of coming together.... The Carriage and platform almost together for good: So there is going to be a small break from this one whilst I attend to a couple "other" fires. Back soon!! Thanks a bunch for tuning in!!
