Nothing too earth shattering to report via build update. Got some seat time last night and started knocking out the back of the hull... I left off the two engine screen/hatch latches on the top of the deck to apply later over the top of my P/E grilles, puttied out the injection marks underneath the two rear mud guards. Then just cut, sanded and glued a ton o'stuff! P.S. I've decided to forego the hull texturing. Risk/reward is out of balance on that one, and after doing some research, I'm just not sure it is really worth it. A lot of what I've read in my books and looking at photos of these Tigers at Aberdeen, coming off of the assembly line, and in the field, well, at 1:35th scale I'm just not sure there is really much texture to model. I'm sure there was some there, but at this small scale I doubt it would really be that visible. Just not much there to gain on this build. So, on to other things.

Hey Gary - Unfortunately, didn't have the tool clasps in my P/E spares stash that I thought I had. How about a 5 minute tutorial on how you make the clasp handles, like you made on my little 1:48 Tiger. You making those with wire or styrene strips? Thanks for the encouragement fellas KG

Thanks for the encouragement fellas KG Kyle, If you have no extras, make then out of Brass Strip. Just cut a srtip at the width ya need. I cut pieces about 1/4" long and hold the center with tweezers and bend to size then trim excess. Did that just make any darn sense?

Makes sense. Where do you get brass strip? It can be easily cut from the edge of PE sprue or and piece of PE thats big enuff. You can get Brass Sheets from Hobby Lobby or Hobby Town in different thicknesses. I have some .005" x 4" x 5" which works good, but some just a bit thinner like PE is best IMHO.
