Not that you want to buy something when you don't have to but Gator's Studio has a Gator Mask for the 1/700 MO: www.gatorsmask.com/bb.html $7 ..not sure what shipping would be. I am working with him now to see about the Roberts I have going!!

Man, it looks GREAT already and it is not even painted. Like Dupes said, will be interesting to see how you paint the camo on the deck. I hope I will not hear you cussing all the way from Texas...

Howdy fellas, Ill be honest here fellers, i pert near bit off more than i wanted to chew with this camo, Gonna be a challenge for sure. Wasnt sure exactly sure what to do first so i just said scr*w it and lates spray some Blue....and i did! Dont know just yet how ill sort out the Grey. Ill figure somethin out. Later dudes, Gary

Bad news fellas, Ive botched the camo on the Iowa. I set it aside for awhile and decided to reprime and im gonna do a simple paint job on it representing the Iowa as it was before goin to the pacific Theater and getting camo. Ill update when i get some paint on. Gary

It happens Bro! Sorry to hear about it though! The plain colors in Tokyo Harbor for the signing of the surrender works too! Her lower half was the Dark Blue/Grey you used and the who;e upper section from the hull up through the superstructure was the light Grey. Easy mask for you and a quick two color spray!

Hey thanks fellas! I think i got it sorted out with help from brother Todd. I still need to paint some light Blue on the hull then i can fix some broken parts then Gloss this bad boy. Im also showing the base im gonna used which is already base coated with Midnight Blue and sealed with Envirotex. Once im finished with the ship ill add water ripple effects then paint the edges of the base. more soon. Gary

It keeps getting better and better lots of realisictization going down there in Texas. Some years back I took a tour through the USS Alabama which was quite impressive, I it the same class as the Iowa?
