I'm a big fan of Krylon primer, pretty much use it all the time now. I also use their flat "camo" colors, same composition and type paint as the primer, and I don't have to prime first.

In the model room last night, girls went to see "Guitar Vic" play. Whee! So I got my tarp installed, periscopes painted and began filling the painted open holes with Micro Krystal Kleer, painted the headlight and tail lights and filled the headlights with the same stuff as the periscopes. It'll take several applications on the headlights to get the lens built up to a dome, but I added another shot this morning. I also managed to lose the driver's hatch. Hmmm, so I robbed one from another kit and painted, washed and pigmented it to match. It's pretty much down to figs, securing the one tow cable end and a base now, but as always, if anybody sees anything I may have missed, sing out! Da pics: And how I have to position it while the various lenses and such dry: This last pic makes me think of one of those tank "Oops" pics.....

Figs begun. "Which body are you getting?" "Why, the studley one, of course, I'm the TC" "How do you know, don't you see my serious expression that comes with the responsibility of command?" "You're just grumpy because you're getting the loader's body and the first thing you'll need to do is tension the tracks". "Oh, great".

Figures look pretty good!!! Wondering what was wrong with the loader? Probably was upset about the 'human' gas attack that he had to step out for fresh air...

LOL, I bet the one on the left is the loader/tensioner. He's got such a sorry look... Bingo! And he has no idea where his tools are. He's better not to ask. I suspect the boss knows and is eager to share his knowledge Or, at least, that's what I read in his face BTW, nice figs, start painting 'em

Loader's still not a happy camper, but he's got a body. And a shot of the base, still lots to do here, but the tank is done. Thx!

Thanks, guys. Okay, it's done. I'm gonna stick a couple of pics here, some in Gallery. Feels good to have finished something! These are all taken outdoors, but I need to pay more attention to my own shadow and cloud cover. I prefer them to what I'm getting indoors, colors are much closer to the actual thing.
