Great build, as jackwagon says "it's more scratch than kit" but I think it's all the better for it

Thanks guys, i've got some more done , just haven't got photos yet. I've had to rebuild the front springs and shackles so about 50% done. I have made the armour but most of it will be left off.....good way of displaying the quad turret.

Right....here we go.Before anyone,like jackwagon says anything about the slightly splayed frame rails....they were like that even in the factory! oh yes they were!!! I reckon the front axle will pull them into line. I'm working on the other spring assembly now and hope to have that done by the weekend.
Oh and the floors aren't fixed yet

Yep, that engine is the doggies da****. I though it was a real motor. Damn fine painting. The chassis and especially the the front axle and leaf springs are fantastic.

Here's the latest progress in pics. Have I had problems with the chassis warping!!!!Never mind all is well now and after using a million Grandt line nuts the main rear body is together. Next is the upper armour and the rear diff.

Bill, you won't need that much mate. Pigs should be used for final touches, think in terms of paints and oils for the rust effects.

Hello guys
I have got some work done at last!!!! tried a little rusting on one or two parts.....looks more orange in the pic than it really is.
I don't know where to stop with the deatils on this build. I'm trapped between a rock and a hard place!!!!! I think it'll be pretty much stripped down to show the details....seems no point in hiding it!! some parts in these photos aren't finished yet.

Man this is just getting better and better. The details all look fanbloodytastic. The rust experiment look right to me. man that front end has some amazing detail....yep hard to stop once your on a roll ey.
