What an amazing result Marc. All of that time and "freakin'" tape paid off in spades. Dave

Thanks Dave. Next thing I build definitely will not have any tape.

Thanks Dave. Next thing I build definitely will not have any tape. Like THAT's ever going to happen...

Yeah Bill you’re right. Don’t think it’s possible to build something without apiece of tape somewhere. Certainly no way to do the camo without tape on what is the front runner on the list of what to build once I am done with Harry.

Computer went down right after I amended the thread title but I think I can get the pics in here now. So... all the decals are done, sealed and flat coated then a final dusty filter to tone the decals down a bit. Just a little fading for the roundels and that will be that about that. In the bottom pic the wing is just placed on top without any struts so it looks weird but you get the idea. Still have some PC problems. It's so slow this post took 15 minutes to type and post

Looking good Marc! May not be your PC that's causing issues...I've noticed that one of the ads that sometimes loads/plays at the bottom of the Proboards site the last few days doesn't load completely and REALLY drags things down...however a quick refresh of the page loads a different (usually non-video ad) one and then everything goes back to normal. May not be the problem you're experiencing but thought I would point it out as a possible culprit!

Bill this is most definitely a PC problem. I got the Geek Squad techs to connect to me and he discovered that 2 files... dllhost.exe and svchost.exe where each running about 15 to 20 times and each using anywhere from 50 MB to 350 MB of ram. It was using 100% of the ram and the performance meter was fluctuating between 95% and 100% CPU usage. It was on the dips below 100% that anything would happen. Like taking ten minutes for a program to open or a web page to change. I had to take it in to the store. Since this PC is over 6 years old I picked up a new tower at Costco with an I7 processor, 12 GB of RAM and 1 T hard drive for 600 bucks. I just need to get the old machine running well enough to get all the stuff i need transferred. And now that i see the length of that explanation it's likely it falls into the category of TMI. Thanks Andy. I started some of the rigging and will get some photos up as soon as I can. The finish line should be coming into to few and day now.

Rigging part always make me wonder if its the reason I have been avoiding ships and WWI planes. LOL I don't do wingy builds but I do have couple of 1/35 wingy kits in my stash.
Looking forward to your next update!

Not TMI at all Marc...sounds like it was definitely on its last legs but you've got a well-built and powerful replacement to take over from it! The pain of a PC transfer will be worth it though with that kind of horsepower.

Marc I had the same problem with dllhost.exe. and wound up with 2 viruses. Nice start on the rigging.

Thanks Leon. I got a call from geek Squad last night saying the only thing they can do is wipe it out and reload the OS. Not much point in that since I have the PC equivalent of a Ferrari in the garage

Good morning Marc, The extras you've put into this winged beastie are paying off. I especially like the "wrap" you put around the landing gear. Dave

Thanks a lot guys. Ya know Mark, I shouldn't have said that about not wanting to give it up. I gave the client this link so he cold see the progress and I don't want him to think I am serious Glad you like the exhausts. i was playing around with getting some tempering colors where each of the cylinders connect to the pipe. They don't show up in the photos too well. I'll see if i can get a close up. Bill... Rigging? Fun? That's what I keep telling myself Speaking of my client... if you happen to check for an update please email me. Since my PC is dead I've lost your email address. the techs are trying t back up y user file so i will see if I get it back in a few days. And as you can see we will be setting up a delivery soon.

Those bombs look lovely... can you drop them off at my house? I guess that means Andy wants to do more remodeling! Nice progress there Marc, struts and bombs really add to the details on this one.
