Thanks Leon Hey T, If this makes your day... dude... get out a bit more would ya! Thanks Bill. Panels got some lighter base fill to differentiate the sections a bit. But because of the setting I plan for this the painting is just about done, . there will be pin washed and dry brushing for the popping of details but little weathering.

Whoah, all of a sudden there's paint!
I'm wrapping up a few builds, then back on top of the Maquette piece of shi... kit to wrestle it into submission. Don't want that thing hanging around on the Shelf Of Doom for ANY amount of time!

Trying to get back into the swing of things around here following the little disruption the other day...most of you understand this to be Christmas I guess? LOL!! Hope you all had a splendid time and are recovering just in time to celebrate the coming of the New Year. Not much of an update but figured I would toss something up whilst I was working out things on the base... Like I said, not too much! The grassy tufts are Silflor; the taller grassy stuff is ArmorFarm. I have some more playing around to do along with plenty of weathering to work out on the little tank!! Thanks for having a peek!!

Some fine ground work T. Being that mine is a cutaway I got to thinking (always a dangerous prospect ) that it was done for people to look inside. And where do you do that? Most likely a museum. First thing was to find a picture of a polished concrete floor. Gotta love the internet. Make a decal, put it on a sheet of plastic and mount it to a wood plaque. Left over awards from a club show a few years ago are perfect.. Some security rope stanchions were scratche with aluminum tibing, plastic disk and rings made of thinh wire. Reday for Alclad poished Brass or Chrome. Haven't decided yet but leaning to brass just for a little color in the scene. Here's a mock...

Todd, nice work planting the base, looking good! Marc, excellent plan for the display, I bet you could even find a graphic 'vehicle info sheet' to add to an angled post or similar to complete the 'Night at the Museum' effect.

Thanks guys.
Bill I was thinking exactly that. If I had a little more floor space I was also thinking of a couple of civilian figures but to tight.

Can't cram a couple in towards the ends?

As you can see Marc, sadly no. I thought of it after I glued the stanchions in place and no way to get them off ith having to redo the concrete. Maybe someday. Base is done. Just a few do-dads for the vehicle, a dry brush, some flat coat. The sign is 9/16 wide but still legible.
