Leon- Hey there! Thanks! Glad your PC is free of some voodoo curse or magic... that's the price of being a wizard.
Deano- HAHA! Me too... have to see it again only when I am done with this. I bet my boys will want to see it with me again...
Jimmy- Thanks man!!! I admit it was fun painting this little bird... I am having the urge to do the decals tonight!

Well hot d**n Andy! You and helos have quite a thing going on. I remember the Huey you built for a buddy of yours. This wee whirly beastie is certainly no exception. Amazing work my friend. Dave

Quick update... decals are on! It was easy and fun... only seven decals this time... thank you gods! Decals from Werner's Wings were fantastic! It came with 4 or 5 options for the Little Bird and I opted for light grey one while others were pretty dark. That unit was shot down in Iraq in 2006 and the crew lives were lost when it went down. Sprayed final coat of Future on the decals and it gonna sit for 24 hours before I can fondle it again...

you sprayed it wonderfull buddy!! Smart way to ''bend'' the rotor. Trumpy says that they are releasing the Kamov Ka-27 helo, so i must pay good attention here, how to build/ airbrush a chopper...

Wizardo- Slow and easy?!?!? Yup, those words are not in my dictionary. LOL Thanks buddy! Professor- Thanks man... my week and half long vacation starts in 22 hours so I can't wait to finish it! Wouter- LOL! Figured Facebook helps too for those who are pretty busy. It helps me too! I think doing for second attempt helps despite the fact I am using more aftermarket on this. Lets say my fat arse finally found the mojo finally... thanks my friend as it is always good "hearing" from you! Bob- Thanks my brother... planning to do some highlighting on the details and edges next. Little update... love this product from Model Master... I blame Bill Plunk of El Paso, Texas BIG TIME! Sprayed three light coats of flat clear... it should do the job to protect the previous paint jobs.

Mr T- Sometimes I want to be the Scrooge myself but hell I love getting gifts too. LOL I will just use the guerrilla tactic... hit and run... leaving them with new laptops! Sam- Its 1/48. I wish it is 1/35 since all of my helo builds are in 1/35. Check it out at Trumpy's Facebook page... www.facebook.com/TrumpeterModel

HA! No kidding... I used to know a lot about PC stuff but after switching to Apple Mac probook I sure lost track. I was surprised when my friend who works as an IT told me that Dell, Gateway, and others are junk now. He told me to get either Lenovo and HP... amazing how quick things can change in PC world and how cheap they are now compared to Apple laptops.
My week long vacation has STARTED officially and I am heading down to my man cave now. Thanks Professor Bill!

Week long vacation and descending to the man cave. Sonds nice. Hopefully the family knows to do routine welfare checks to make sure you're doin ok. Not much reason to ascend for the next few days ok...maybe on Chirstmas eve or something. The decals look great. Look forward to seeing the end result here. Already a winner!

Can't believe my vacation is almost over... did some work on my little bird. The base is done. The bird is almost done. Still a long way to work on the figure. The reason it is not done by now... the canopy was completely ruined in three different locations. Sorry I forgot to take a pic... damn it!! I was very disappointed that I almost had it trashed. But thanks to buddies at local club where I brought it to see if theres something I can do about it. They suggested to get very fine sandpapers from the auto shop... count 3000, 5000 and 8000 etc. Then apply coats of Future. And IT WORKED!!! Applied blue filter designed for panzer grey. Then I applied heavily thinned light grey oil paint. It really helped make the details pop especially the rivets. It looks little messy right now because its not one... will apply white spirit to clean it up. It only need dust pigments... last step I hope! Thanks for looking!
