Big update on my figure... great bench times for two days. Flesh is next... not exactly my favorite part. Not much left to do... oil washes & pigments. Hoping I can finish it by tomorrow or Saturday at latest. I know Marc is very anxious to start his Seehund for our duel. LOL

So this is where you've been hiding. Although I cold hardly say the 6 pages is "hiding". The bird looks great.

Wizardo- Thanks buddy! So close... think I am heading back to my man cave in few minutes. LOL
Marco- LOL Thanks! New record... only 6 pages unlike my typical 30-40 pages and lengthy builds! That's why I enjoy doing helicopters once a while cause its pretty quick and fun! I hope to do this every year to help keep my mojo going.
Scratchmodo- Thanks bro! Don't we love FB?!?!? LOL Can be addictive especially from our smartphones!

Dicator of your own man cave certainly has its privileges, just so long as you don't start invading and seizing other stashes you should be ok!

Guys- The figure is so ALMOST done... 95% done. Dark washes and pigments next... easy and fun! Should be done by tomorrow. Pulled my back yesterday while moving heavy furnitures out of the basement as we got new theater style couch today. Dude, you have a problem with me? He wanted to know... This time I didn't put paint I used back to the shelves... I wanted to see how much bottles I used on the little dude. Can't wait to finish... thanks for looking!

Hi Andy, great work on this guy. He is what my son (a regular in the British Army) would call a Gucci soldier, this alludes to the fact that 'they' get all the good gear. But that aside this little fella is looking Gucci, LOL.
I am glad you like the grunt book as it is a real gem.
Looking forward to seeing more. Dennis

Mr T- I know!!! I think I will start tomorrow... Marc better be ready! Nah, he was ready few days ago...
I realize the beard needs little more work and skin around the eyes need to be fixed. LOL

Am afraid I got me Plunk bug... very fatal... it is resistant to armor immunization! I see myself doing mini-sub, bomber and couple of busts for sure. Maybe a tank if there is enough time... of course the rotory thing too if possible. LOL

I didn't really realize how much paint I use in the past because I always put them back on the shelves but this time I kept them until I am done. BAM! I see how many different tones I have used. It is all about doing as many layers as you can.

Hi Andy, you have cracked it mate! The models are very well painted, very well presented. Would this model jump out at me if it was on a table full of models at a show, you bet it would!! You are to congratulated on a first class presentation of two stunning models. Keep them coming Dennis

Nice finish on this one Andy. Bird looks great but I'm not sure if that really very Gucci. Some of the accessories look like YSL to me

Dennis- Thanks my friend! I have been naming him Mr Gucci all over my Facebook. Many thanks for telling me about that! LOL Appreciate your nice words very much. I am about to build mini-subSeehund... it should be fun I hope!
Marc- LOL Thanks... really looking forward to the duel. Will start after the football playoff games of course!
Mr T- Thanks boss! Nah, I told myself not to enter MoM for a while as I want others to have the chance to win. There are many great modelers here who deserves to have that title too. Once again many thanks for allowing me to do the review... it has been fun and I hope to do it again. I will post my build on their Facebook when I have the chance...

Yep. It's wonderful. Weathering feels spot on and the figure is superb and really gives a sense of scale. Great way to start the year!

Thanks bro! Was tempted to do more on weathering but after looking at many Little Birds they are pretty well maintained out there. I had to add the figure so we can see how little the bird really is. I am going to do the same for my next build mini-sub Seehund too. LOL
