It'sso nice to see that there is still some consistency in the universe. In that case, that Marc is insane in his pace.

Another bit of resin goodness, this time from a now-defunct company (sadly). 1/72 AT-PT seen in Episode II and III, if I remember correctly. The stormtrooper measures exactly one inch for scale ref - puts him right at 6 feet full height. A few more shots for good measure:

Keep the bench on fire up there!!! If it keeps snowing I don't have a choice - can barely leave the driveway as it is! I will officially grant you "+10 builds" to your yearly tally for banging out a 1/350 carrier. Going to have it done by the time Valleycon rolls around...?

Luvin that entry Dupes .... did the figure come with the kit? It did not. I'm actually trying to figure out who made it - it came in a box of random cast resin SW figure bits that someone gave me. Some "mysterious resin guy".

Its the one thing that has put me off a Star Wars build is having good figures in the proper scale to go along side it ....my search continues .......

They are indeed hard to find. There's a company in Australia that was supposed to come out with a whole slew of stuff, but he's fallen off the radar.

Nice work on the Walker and the Trooper...I bet he still can't hit anything even at that scale though, right?

STAR WARS, sic... so much cool stuff and ideas (always wanted to scratch a Chicken Walker, but heck, when?) and so low on time. Anyway, for that I have guys like you which sever what I promise, harhar! Looks way cool this Walker, the Trooper is cool, too. Incueded in the kit? And the little Base fits well. I would love to see an Ewok arm under one foot of the walker...

Bill - you could put up a barn door and he'd find a way to miss that, I'm sure. Frank - scratch an AT-ST, eh? What scale are you shooting for? Trooper not included...scrounged elsewhere. Turns out that while the trooper is indeed 1/72 scale, the AT-PT (at least according to some drawings that were rounded up) is most likely not - should be a good bit smaller depending what references you believe. Ehh, I like it this way. What other SW stuff can I build for you?

Dupes, when I would find the time to tackle such a big project, it would be 1:72. Big enough to add all details and small enough to put him on the table. I think, 1:72 is the way to go in the STAR WARS universe (exept bigger space ship and figures of cause!) I am a fan of "original work" so I would love to see modifications on known vehicles, like a LONG RANGE RACON PATROL Speederbike or altered vehicles for special operations like Probots heavier armed or for assassin actions. I think, there is so much potential in this theme you can go wild. If you wanna take the ride feel free and remember: There are no limits! MAYBE we can tackle a STAR WARS group build sometimes. Hey Todd, what do you think?!

How did I know there would be an "it's a trap" joke in there somewhere? Thanks fellas! Oh, and the jug just slid closer to the middle of the bench.

Jimmy - my apologies, but this one isn't a braille scale jug either. Soon! This one is DML kit 6185, the Beutepanzer T-34 boxing with the Panzer III cupola. Been working on this one on and off for more than two years - blame my cat Tucker for running away with a road wheel mid-build. Heh. I didn't like the looks of the kit markings (or decals) so much, so I pieced something together from spares to come pretty close to what I was seeing in some reference pics. This - to me, anyway - is one of my best weathering attempts. I think because it's the most "homogenous", or consistent across the entire model. I welcome any opportunities to improve it, though, so let me know if I f'd something up! Additional pics to go with the one on page 1:
