Alright, I have broken the drought! Hasegawa 1/48 Hellcat built 100% out of box. Used the Aeromaster Tokyo Raiders special edition markings and went for a salt-worn dusty older bird. Hope you like! Just realizing that I neglected to paint the wingtip nav lights. One more delay until she hits the shelf for real.

Hey, thanks guys! Bill - idle I have not been! Shoot, a couple weeks back I think I worked on something like nine models in seven days. Just a lack of finishability (not a word) for a bit. I'm getting over that now, though, so there will be a veritable flood of completions.

Oh, you definitely should Leon! The kits can be a bit difficult to track down...but they're fun.

These two are stunning as usual. Really digging the weathering on the Hellcat obviously, but c'mon all this time you've been gone you've only completed 2?

Believe it...lots of building and painting (even some weathering) but no actual finishing. There's a veritable truckload to come, though! I should take a shot of the WIP shelf tonight...or not. Heh.

Aaaah, this is the small one. Very cool. And you were right, in direct comparison you can clearly see a difference between some details. :)Especially the handles are really thick - but hey, its SciFi and so thats just nitpicking. Very well done.

Thanks Wes and Leon! Took some pics of completed build #4 in 4 days this morning - not liking how they came out. Going to make a couple of minor alterations after work today and re-shoot. Will post tonight!

Wow, you dont see them Battletechs very often. Radiation cover of the Nutcracker looks a bit scrappy in 1/35 too ironically, I replaced it with a spare PE part.

This shoe will fit your kids. If you want one for your own, you should go 1/35.

The floodgates have opened! Nice additions Dupes. The Sci Fi factory is in full production by the looks of it. Funny you say that...I got the same thing at my club meeting last night! I certainly have been leaning that way pretty heavily of late. Of course, my stash will have something to say about the sci-fi only thing.
