Hi Todd!
The disadvantage of usually taking a quick view on the forum is the fact you lack many interesting topics. As yours! I'm really shocked, I don't know how to start. The figurine from Kabuki is a very well sculpted and the tones you gave show its value. Not to say about the base! The Game Air serie from Vallejo is very interesting, I picked myself some bottles to test them. Your results make me have confidence. I like a lot what you've done to the small vignete with the soldiers. It will be a gem when you'll finish it. I'd like too the Black Widow (can't wait to see your next steps)and your Odin. For its scale you have an excellent result to the last figurine. What can I surelly notice is the fact you succedded to master a technique to built your figurines, sceneries only from primers and some base colours, to make their base shadows and lights. All I've seen until now has a great quality: is very balanced, nothing strange, exotic, too contrasted. But I think you should advance and make by brush all small details that enforce and give your projects their maximum. They deserve it, and will be the drop gaving them all the beauty! Waiting to see your next steps, as you have nothing to be worry, I really enjoyed. And wait for more! Cheers, Nicolae

Andy Thank you my friend!! I know what you mean!! Those hot elfin women are a real treat!!! WAIT, not what you meant...LOL! Nicolae - Thank you very much for the kind words! I am pleased you are enjoying the show...LOL!! I still have plenty of work to do on all of these. I am enjoying bouncing around a bit at the moment!! It is keeping me interested....and driving Andy nuts actually...which is a good thing!! You will like the Game Air I think, a lot. Great colors in the line and they spray really well! Some are a bit thin when painting by hand (I think I mentioned that somewhere in the pictures)but with a could coats things turn out nice. The thinness lets the paint flow into the creases nicely. Much less work when cutting in!! Leon - Thank you buddy! Most appreciated!! I was struggling to figure out what colors to actually use on that and finally decided to let it go and just paint and see what happens. I figured worst case, I strip it and start over...LOL!!!

Todd, you are a working class hero! After seeing your workload, well, I guess you have even more on the bench, but to my luck, you are doing figures now! I love seeing them, does not matter which theme or era, I LOVE FIGURES! And your range here is wide here (as mine I guess, we are lovers of "the good figure" or a figure which meets our taste that means) and you fight on many fronts. To full success I should add! The Odin figure is full of details (one minor critisim is the thickness of the Blades, but that is usual for figures in this scale.) and you will have to take a good brush to bring them out. Do you plan to add a small Base here? Black Widow is a Vinyl kit? Looks well detailed and seems to go together easily. And I love the idea of the Thread itself. Maybe I should do it this way sometime...

I'd say that bunny would be a fine representation of Andy, but it's not drooling enough!

Heck, you wrote the same as I thought after seeing the little guy. I mean that he should drool a bit, harhar! Anyway, I love this little piece, as said before. The expression on her face is captured absolute perfect and the "classic" colour composition fits well on this figure. All in all a great job!

Hi Todd, Excellent paint job!! I have to agree with Frank's earlier post about the disney colours, they really compliment her!! After seeing the results of your figures and some of the other guys, I might have to ask my GF for an earlier birthday present---airbrush!! What set up are you working with? Forgive my ignorance...but what is the rabbit "exactly" looking at? The big shiny um apple? Cheers Shay

BOB - We can certainly name him Andy!! Frank - Thank you my friend! Appreciate you tagging along for the ride!! Andy - Thank you buddy!! I put it on top of the piano for the world to see!! I think something like "Disney Hooker" was uttered but I have no confirmation on that! Thank you Shay! (PM Inbound) Appreciate it!! As for the rabbit....I thought it was the "peach" he was gazing upon! On the subject of AB's...Currently I shoot with one of two that I have...Badger's Krome Renegade and Harder and Steenbeck's Evolution Silverline Solo. Both excellent brushes, both fall into what I call a "mid-range brush"; this is for price more than anything else and both are Double Action, Gravity Feed Airbrushes. I have and have had several models; Paasche (siphon or bottom feeder as I call it), Badger 100, Krome, Solo, Sotar 20/20 and Iwata side-feed trigger/pistol grip. The Krome and Solo seem to work the best for me! Feel, Price, Quality

Oh why not? Here are two others that happened to be sitting next to the bench and a little too close to the AB while I was working on something else! RN Estudio's Cheerleader. I did a review for this little one late last year! If you care to have a peak at it, here you go - trmreviewconnect.wordpress.com/2014/11/29/2868/Other than that, here is what she looks like... Now with a quick coat of black primer... Not sure this will be in the painting stages just as yet, but she is part of this figure onslaught! One other figure that didn't escape was Dark Sword's Female Rogue. Review of this figure can be found here--->> trmreviewconnect.wordpress.com/2014/11/13/dark-sword-miniatures-female-rogue/This is a metal figure, here she looks under a little primer: Thanks for hanging about!! Hope to have some updates to some of these real soon!!

Todd, always in when you do a paintjob on figures, it is too cool! The new Babes, what to say? A Cheerleader from Hell and a Sword handling Heroine, which one is the fave? Mine is the Cheerleader (she proves, that there is more fun "down under" than up above in paradise, so I go with her!) Can´t wait to see which colours you will use. Maybe a devilish red? Will be cool!

Give me 'O'
Give me 'D'
Give me another 'D"
Can you tell me what it is?!?!?

Man, can you take a pause? You're just amazing, can't keep to introduce new well-looking figurines. And myself fighting hard to finish old projects! Warm congrats for Kabuki figurine finished. I like too the rabbit face expression(I don't enter in discussions about the target of his look!). Keep it on, my friend! Nicolae

Frank - Thank you sir! Not sure which one I like more actually...but the sword wielding heroine is high on the list!! Nothing better than a good woman that can kick you a$$!! Andy! Thanks buddy!! Hope you are enjoying the camping trip!! Better you than I brotha!! Of course it would be much much warmer with a few cheerleaders for hand warmers!! Leon - Thanks brotha!! A little here, a little there, right? All we can do!! Nicolae - Thank you my friend! No worries, as you can see only one out of the lot is actually complete!! Jumping around probably keeps them from crossing the finish line I am sure!! That is one lucky rabbit though!! A small update on one of these projects. As I progress in the never ending battle between me and the brush (brush is winning btw), I managed to push the "not sure what this is yet" project along. Two of the three figures are shaping up...I think. Mr. sneaky dude and Sir caught off guard are nearing the final stages. I shot primer on both of the figs. Originally I had the brown and while primer on Sneaky Man, but while tossing the black and grey I figured why not... After that, I airbrushed some color to see what I was working with. This is pretty much where I stand at the moment. Both figures are painted and while I probably could be happy just moving on and getting the base done, I will most likely keep working on some detailing. I am not trying to get all this s*it down in one day. More of a focusing on one aspect and move to the next. With any luck, it will all come together in the end. Well, that's it for the moment!! Back to the carrier I think! We are staring down a possible snow event for tomorrow into Tuesday. With the exception of moving all that white crap around it's not totally a bad thing. A hot cup of coffee and some warm bench time is a really good thing!! Thanks for tuning in!!

Damn you are painting machine Todd!! The figures are looking great and the extra detailing will bring them out even better. Can you send some snow my way mate? I wouldn't mind a day or two extra at home to catch up on some bench time Cheers, Shay

Thanks Shay! Turning my attention to the base next and will revisit the detailing a bit more. I still have to nail down which figure will make the cut for the odd man out....I have a couple Russian grunts that would easily fit the part and a US Airborne fig that might. Best to assemble and see how the look!

Great work as usuall, Todd! Well weathering on the figs and great paint up! The faces look real battleworn, and I am curious how they will look when "melted" in the base. Stay busy my friend!

Thanks Frank! I think they will do fine once added to the base, then revisit some items to give them some sort of placement in the scene. Of course I have not picked the alternate dude as of yet, but the base has been clear coated for the steps to follow!!
