Damn you! Count me in... man, now I have to tell wing-nut that our second duel will have to wait much longer. LOL Here's my choice... Without pontoons of course! All heads will be replaced with resin heads to look like those Wehrmacht soldiers in the pictures... One of my favorites... Marching toward to Moscow...

Andy--I seriously thought about doing that kit (with pontoon) but the thought of all those figures put me off. You're a better man than I, my friend.
Momcha-- Great choice of kits. Looking forward to seeing the T-26 especially

For sure I am not going to use all figures... maybe 10-12 figures to start with. Who knows I will go crazy and do more? I found perfect resin heads for this from Hornet...

Interesting about the Operation Barbarossa, I`m in! I have not make my own decision yet to choose which model I do make one or some more, probably StuG with short-barrelled and Russian Anti-tank or something.

I'll start with this one: I am not sure what I will put behind it yet. I will probably take a look at the Indy show next month. I am also thinking of a 251, or Jagdpanzer I.

I would love to join this group build.... But I need some help, can you please recommend some Russian Wingies, and other goodies that I could build?

I have a few things I'd like to build first, but hopefully I can finish this tank in 14th Panzer division markings. Cheers #57

Steve that is a nice choice, what scale is it and does it include the figures ?? I have the Pz I ausf A but can't find and ref that it was used in the 41 Barbarossa op, just as a driving school tank.

Oops, the last is a bit blury... Here we are. The second in none winter camo is the testplane, send in august 1941. The russians didn't have russian manuals, so the couldn't fly it till november 1941. In november some P-40 were used in the defence of moskow. These are the one with winter camo. They were not pleased with it. Comfort and equipment was oke, but technically they were bad. A P-40 always had a technical problem in the air due the harsh weather. Especially the engine and oil cooler was bad. The plumbing cracked in the winter. Pilots prefer the Yak-1 more than the P-40. HTH, Remco

Innnnteresting! As far as you know, was the 40 the only lend lease bird in use for barbarossa?
