Stunning work! I am afraid I have mentioned this few times but I will say it again... love the camo! I have to say this too... dig your heavy weathering technique. I am tempted to write 'Wash me!' on your 251!

Another perfect finish Bill. Love the Cammo and weathering. The only thing I see that it still needs is a "DO NOT TOUCH" sign for Andy! LOL

Thanks guys, it's been a good year so far and with a little luck just maybe will be able to squeeze in #5...have to see how things work out!
I do agree that a "Wash Me" note from the depot GIs would be a nice touch to this one! ;D

Superb job on the Panzer Bill! It is always difficult to make monochrome stuff look good and to provide some variation to the one color, but I think you have nailed it here my friend! Stirling work! Cheers, Sam

A beautiful job, Bill, kudos! I love the grime on side plates. Perhaps it was mentioned in the workbench, if so, excuse me, but I'm curious about the lack of rear license plates. It was common in late stage of war?DarÃo Edited: yup...I found the explanation in page 7 "Examination of reference photos show that the rear plates weren't a common sight so I left those off on the rear mud flaps."

Dario, thanks for the comments and the self-explanation! Gary, thank you kindly sir! I think of the bunch the /22 was the one I've enjoyed the most although they were all fun to build and work on in their own way.

Thanks tread, John, and spud! Appreciate the comments and support as always. Tojo, I've had 2 make it into print so far this year and have sold a couple of others so it's been a good year so far, can't complain! Thanks as always for the support!

Thanks wouts! This one went together the fastest of all the build projects at about 6 weeks but then I deliberately chose it as one that was going to be relatively easy to build so I could focus on the paint/weathering process. Last year was a slow year, only 3 builds, so this year's a substantial improvement in terms of number of completions. Dicky, as a one-build-at-a-time guy the bench doesn't stay idle and the next victim has already been selected for the coming weekend, so never fear! It likely will overlap into January though what with the usual holiday diversions and such coming up but you never know. Thanks for the high praise as well, much appreciated sir.

Fantastic work Bill! I have always been a big fan of captured aircraft and armor, so it is nice to see some rear it's head on this site! Great work mate, and I love the whitewash effect too! Cheers, Sam

John, JT, and Sam, thanks very much for the kind words. I really enjoyed this project and the 'new' territory it represented.
