Afternoon fellas! Making more progress on my day off.Flat coat was applied a few days ago so I decided since I wasn't having any luck with the workable tracks,I add a few track links to the cowl and upper hull and did a little rust streaking using True-Earth rust.Not perfect but I like it.Also put some sag in the tracks.Next up is a little mudification.Hope you like it so far.

Rust effects look pretty good on those spare tracks Leon!

As for the hull areas, you may wish to swap out the rust streaks with a grime/dirt type of streaking if you're showing an in-service vehicle. The crews were responsible for maintenance/upkeep on the vehicle on a daily basis and while dirt/grime would be common, rust is a big no-no as it weakens armor plate and makes it vulnerable to cracking/failing in combat conditions. The type of rust streaking you've created here is something that you would only see on a derelict or wreck that had been exposed to the elements for an extended period of time. Maybe switch the rust for a burnt umber or raw umber type of color?

Morning fellas! Just finished adding some dried mud using unsanded grout and adding a few drops of AK dry mud effects paint.I have some left over mud that I'm going to crush and use as dust once it hardens.Hope you like how it looks so far.

Had a hard time sleeping last night so I decided to work on the base.Ground work is foam covered with my usual tile grout and a few drops of AK dry mud paint.The grass tufts are from Fredericus Rex which were on back order along with some other goodies I plan on using on the Stryker dio.Just need to do a little more weathering and paint the ladder on the 251 and I can call it done.Hope you like it.
