Hello everybody, I finally got through my mental block on the sides of the turret.  I was going to use expanded foam for the sides, but eventually decided on using plastic. I cheated and made templates out of paper.  |

Hello everybody. I finally got some bench time in. I got the side pieces cut and added.   I still have some filling and feathering to do, but she's getting there. I'm hoping to have more to show soon. Thanks for looking in. |

Bruce, fabulous work! I would humbly suggest scratching/fabricating one track link and casting the rest. You won't be going crazy trying to make the all look alike, Joel.

Well folks, I hate to say it but Matty is shelved right now. I made a fatal mistake in scaling her, and she is about 10mm too narrow. I do not think I can fix her, so I am going to walk away for a while. I am going to start in on the next scratch very soon.

I think it is us that is sorry! It sucks after all that work and now this! Glad to hear you're getting back onto that horse! Maybe a little break from it will inspire a credible fix! I hate to mention my fix...which would be to make a wreck...sorry, couldn't resist! Best of luck on the next venture Bruce!

The turret seems to be right. The superstructure isn't. I am going to get to more white work on something unusual very soon.

I really like what Todd suggested... turn it into a wreck. That way your work isn't a total loss. Everybody loves a wreck...
