OMG! I laughed so hard... I needed that! That's why I love this forum because of you guys.

This is so bad... absolutely no mojo and it has been two months! Yes I have lost mojo in the past but it would come back after few weeks. Glad boys are on their summer break now so it means things are MUCH slower for next two months except for my oldest taking driver's course in June. Good lord... please say prayers for me and my wife! LOL

For last few days I have been returning to my bench to clean it up and organize. Finally got to hang all awards up on the wall as they have been sitting in a pile for years. And i have been busy catching up on modeling magazines recently... maybe that's a good sign.



You know me I will always follow your builds as it is one of best entertainment I could ask for especially when I am stuck in a hotel room or something like that.

Guy- Thanks! Hope to resume the work on B-24 as soon as I finish the US GI bust.

Marc- Yeah its no fun! Maybe Gary can spare me some of his Dallas Cowgirls friends to help me?

Frank- Am sure it will eventually! I swear our next house will have smaller yard... my wife knows!

Bill- No kidding! Have the kit sitting on the table along with other kits I plan to build this year. LOL

Anthony- Ben and I have been talking via Facebook. Ben is done with the hobby after his time at the rehab. He is doing new things and it is helping him a lot down the recovery road. He's doing good! Thought you would like to know... thanks for dropping by!

You are in best company, I have no real moyo at the moment, to. I buy new figures, new books and stuff but put them aside for some time because I love reading now more than sculpting and painting. So it goes!

New khouse? If we MAY buy a house at all, it will definitly have NO GARDEN, only a place for the grill and a big outdoor refrigerator for enough beer and softdrinks to sit down and relax while the steaks are still grilling. This is the garden feeling I like and the only I accept!

Andy, I have been making models for almost 60 years and learned a loooooooong time ago that the mojo thing is going to happen. you just have to be patient and ......it's back. I have probably lost a few years with lack of mojo, but boy, is it good when it returns!!!!!!

Hey Andy what happen to this build mate, are you still on holidays or did your mojo never return. I was really enjoying watching this build get underway as I did with all your builds.

Not that I'm one to talk, I never found my mojo in the first place but in my defence it's taken the Docs 8 years to figure out that I have Rheumatoid Arthritis.

They knew I had a some sort of autoimmune disease but they never tested me for the most common but maybe that's because I never complained about arches & pains until I was having fevers. I've had to deal with ruptured discs in my neck and back at first then a heart attack, underactive thyroid and so on and so on... bla, bla, bla but hey I'm still kicking an one has to be grateful for that.

Hope I didn't lose it for you mate with my lite hearted banter. If you do find it can you send some my way as I need to start at least one of my 150+ kits or you can tell me to stick my head back in the hole.

Ferk me!!! Did I really start this THREE freaking years ago? WOW! It only feels like it has been a year or two. Where did time go?!?! LOL

Sabre- Believe me it is great hearing from you after so long of no talk! I am sorry about your situation and hope you will find ways to make it go away or deal with it while modeling. You were not alone as I have been dealing with no mojo too. I believe in 3 years I only have finished one bust and one little panzer build. It took me 18 months to finish that DAK Pz II. LOL I was dealing with back pain for nearly a year and finally underwent surgery to remove the cyst with long recovery that I am starting to feel much better recently. I'd love to send you some of my mojo If I got plenty. Believe it or not I finally started a build last Sunday and I am enjoying it so far. I will start a new thread as soon as I find a replacement for that Photobucket account I lost earlier. Hope to "hear" from you again even tho my ears are still broken.

Dupes- I know! I know! I know! Banging my head on the desk right now. I hope to resume the B-24 build as soon as I am done with the current build T-55A.

Sorry to hear about your back Andy, I know what it's like mate and I thought I was losing my hearing as well at one stage with this disease. Kept getting infected ears all the time (mainly the right), I couldn't even hear the timer on the hot plate going off even though I was standing right beside it... bugger of a thing.

Why not get a buddy build going mate, I sure a few will join in. I remember TRM saying he was keen to start one as well. He may of already built one since then, I don't know as I only pop in occasionally to check out the builds.

I think my biggest problem has been not having a designated work area, a place to go chill and unwind so I can tinker away. I tried doing it in my office or at the dining table but it just doesn't work for me... too many complaints about the smell and what not.

I see photobucket shot themselves in the foot trying to rip everyone off, funny how the price keeps dropping now. I use imgur  but others say to buy a domain so you can host your own photos or Adobe if you are a subscriber but there are so many others out there, right or wrong it's all too confusing. I would of thought forums would have their own hosting service but I guess it all adds to the running costs.

Andy hope that MOJO returns soon mate and you never know, if you do start up again I might be tempted to build along with you. Although I don't have a B-24 in the stash I do have a Short Stirling or Wellington Mk. X, maybe start a Bomber Sig  and with the passing of Rosie the Riveter the other day it may be a fitting tribute to start a sig or group build.
