All in the name for sure. I didn't realize there was a New York though...but I'm not up to date on ship releases. Good point about the explosion though...perhaps that's why my case of Mr. Surfacer is stuck in China still...2 weeks later.

Good point about the explosion though...perhaps that's why my case of Mr. Surfacer is stuck in China still...2 weeks later. I don't keep track of them much myself, I only know about the USS New York because all of the aftermarket stuff out there is for it since the USS Texas is so new! That and of course that the USS Texas is a New York-class battleship...they were the only 2 in the class together. Kind of ironic in terms of pairing when you think about it. You know that Mr. Surfacer stuff is pretty volatile...a whole case could get you in trouble!

Well apparently it made it to San Fransisco according to Ebay tracking today. So I guess it made it off the slow boat. Hopefully it makes it to me Well you should be able to use any of the AM if you so choose right? There shouldn't be much difference? I know I always thought it was funny Texas and New York...so very different states. As you know we have the Texas out here south of Houston in La Porte. I grew up right down the road in Pasadena and I've been on it a lot. Now, sadly, it's kinda in a state of disrepair, but the last I heard they got the money to do some extensive overhaul. Not sure if that's still the case. I like ships, but building them really isn't my thing...but I'd really like to build her and that 1/200 Missouri...the latter of which probably won't actually happen. haha

Great finish on this one, Bill! Destined for a mag article? ...perhaps that's why my case of Mr. Surfacer is stuck in China still... A CASE? Hahahahahaha.

I can't for the life of me find the black one stateside...at least not at the retailers I usually use. I've been on SBro's email notification list close to a year. I finally gave in. Never ordered from China before. Maybe 6 bottles isn't a case? I dunno...close enough.

Great finish on this one, Bill! Destined for a mag article? Thanks Dupes! We'll see, there's been some interest expressed but have to wait for the usual approval process to work itself out.

Man, that's great. Relatively quick builds too. I guess it's time to stop putting off grabbing a couple of these Bandai kits.
I guess this means it's Texas time....oh boy!

Thanks Leon! Dupes, didn't take that long, just a couple of weeks! Took more time to paint and finish than it did to actually build them. They are nice little kits for sure. Might be tempted to get one of their AT-STs or even a snowspeeder...who knows. Jimmy, no more excuses now! Yes indeed, it's USS Texas time!

Do I hear Bill Murray's lounge act in he background? " Star Wars, nothing but Star wars..."
Can't find my DVDs and it's not on Netflix. Damn! I blame you for wanting to see it so bad right now.

I blame you for wanting to see it so bad right now. I tried to get it done in time for Force Friday but only just missed it. Tear your place apart until you find those discs and bring me the passengers, I want them alive!

200 hours - yikes! Seems worth the effort, though - great finish! Thanks Dupes! I knew it was going to be a labor intensive project from the beginning, big ships can be deceptive like that. Especially when they have a camo scheme that's multicolored like the Measure 22. I chewed through a lot of masking tape!
