Hey guys! The MiG is finished, so i had to find a new victim in my stash. After having a poll, the Yak came out as the winner. Its the Modelsvit 1/48 Yak-1b from Modelsvit a relative new company out the Ukraine. Its stated as a whole new molding, but some say its the South front mold with some corrections on the errors. Molding is soft and it looks like a so called ''short run'' kit. Detail overall, is average with on some parts good. I also got the Armory detail and flaps set. This PE set is fairly cheap, so its a welcome ''feed'' to my AMS. Photo's will come soon. Regards, Remco

But with a lot less foul language in my case rofl-roll Nice pile of goodies you have there Remco Looking forward to seeing it take shape.

Well, we've already had gratuitous pussy shots and flaps were mentioned, so a few choice four, or more, letter words won't make much difference at this point rofl-roll

Hi guys!
Well, i have been extremely busy with the Yak-1b. Building this kit was a true and typical short run kit drama. Fit was in some cases oke, but mostly a trial by error experience. With some parts replaced and adjusted (although the Modelsvit kit stays superior on dimension level to the Accurate Miniatures/Eduard kit), i am now busy with the joining of the parts like the hull sides and wings. Photo's will follow soon.
Regards,
Remco

No, sir Wingnut. I will honor the protocols ;p. I have to figure out, how to post photo's in Tapatalk again (new layout), or put my photo's on Postimage.org and then link them to this site

Hi Dierk! I have been a bit busy with work and live. Also my modeling has been suffering, i know. And knowing the Yak costs huge amounts of time. An i picked it up, to finnish the project in september. Then there is a nice contest of "former soviet hardware" theme in Belgium, by the KMK club.
