Here i added the armored glass behind the pilot. The black "ring" was a challange to make it fit right. Tonight i get Panzerputty, so i can make accurate camouflage blotches!! Yeah!!!

...and then my airbrush was doing weird with the airflow. Painting was gritty and not to my pleasings. So i cleaned the airbrush many times. Without the desired results. After a visit to my airbrush dealer, he said to swap the ten year old rubbers. With exelent results, two aircraft and two tanks await painting now...

Thanks Idor! The black Akan paint was horrible to thin and paint. Strange thing, when i cleaned the airbrush, there was almost no cluther. I had the idea, that i had to dismantel my airbrush to clean. Next time i use Tamiya black (also alcohol based) of my trusty Vallejo black...

Thanks Dierk! Yesterday i add the numbers on the fuselage. Unfortunaly i needed a special 3, but i cuted that one up, for the Spitfire. With horrible results... Like the SAS motto "who dares, wins", i decided to do it again. I am very pleased with the results!

I cut up a 6 and a 7 to build the 3. This was very difficult, because these are rub on decals....

Thanks Idor! I will continue the decal process this evening. The rub on decals were very time consuming, yesterday. I hope to finnish the decals today, so i can put the last gloss laquer on it, tomorrow...

'He who dares wins' - or ends up with lots of useless cut up decals
