I'm building this for the BSC and thought I'd share with some of you here as well. This car will be a well used car set in the late 50's -early 60's with a "moving" theme. So far this is what I have done. I won't tell you what I did so far, I think all the white bits will show themselves. First the Flathead, And the chassis,.. Here you can see the cut off and reamed out dual exhaust. Thanks for looking.

Thanks guys, good to have you all along. The kit is the Amt 41 Ford Woody. It's actually a decent kit. The inside detail is quite good. Not often you find the interior side of the roof detailed. Most of the mods I have done was just getting rid of some of the custom parts. It've bugs me when they make these custom cars but don't include stock parts. Funny thing is I spent alot of time altering other cars from their stock state.

Thanks Multicam. Here is a few more little boxes and that is suppose to be a little radio in the middle. I have a question for you guys. Take a look at this pic and tell me what ya think. The rocking chair looks a bit small next to the car . However, if you go by the common 1/25,1/24 rule of 1mm=1inch, the rocking chair should be spot on. I took measurements from a rocking chair I'm sitting on while I write this. So does the chair look small to you? If so, I wonder why?

To be honest Matt until you mentioned it................i didn`t get drawn to the size comparison first off,i didn`t read the caption first and went straight to the pic................then i went back and looked..............then i couldn`t make up my flippi`n mind whether it was or wasn`t ((LOL)) Dicky is wizard with dimensions and this kinda opinion is probably the best...........me.............i just think that rocker is superb!!! ;D and any slight scale difference woon`t even notice with the other stuff as jackwagon says!! Just my tuppence worth mate

I appreciate your comments guys. I wanted another perspective. Like Dicky says, once loaded it may not be noticeable anyway. It could always be that the body of the car is slightly off scale. That happens too sometimes. I remember on one of the auto forums, a member lined up three or four 57 Chevy bodies (1/25) from different companies, and you would be surprised at the difference in size between them. Some were longer, some wider, and one looked closer to a 1/24.
Anywho, my rocker here measures 20" wide in the front of the seat. And my chair is 19mm wide in the front of the seat (off a mm). The 1:1 chair also measures 39" from the floor to the top of the backrest. my little guy measures 38mm which is off another mm. So maybe the 1mm differnce on the width and height is enough to notice? Or, maybe that 1mm=1inch is more of a rule of thumb than an exact measurement.
In any case I think I'll leave as is. If it were going to set beside the car as in some sort of dio I would probably opt to redo it. But this one is going on the roof with some other stuffs. Thanks again for your thoughts guys.

Remember the box in one of the above photos? Well, I decided to turn it into a safe. I also painted a few things. Not done with them but I have a base coat down. The engine is Alclad steel. I will use the hairspray technique to make the coming colour chipped so the steel will show through. Really, the heads shouldn't have any other colour as they are aftermarket and would likely be steel/mag. etc.. I also will use the same treatment on the cooler which I used aluminum Alclad instead of steel. I painted the chassis with Modelflex Weathered Black. I didn't paint it brown or rusty because I didn't want this chassis to be overly rusty. But it will be rusty. This is just a base.
