Thanks gents. Dirty is good in my world. Funny, looks like right now P-bucket is down, all I see are "broken link" icons and I can't get on to my album. Schweet.

Thanks Andy. Still needs a fixer, then final pastels, then liquid stains. Gotta paint up Karl-Heinz too.

Thanks dupes. I was a little concerned that I may have over-done it, but I think I managed to restrain myself just in time.

So I woke up at 0:dark thirty this morning, and rather than sit on the couch and watch the idiots recite the police report, I did some lights, fronts still need lenses but rears finished: And because I now think Leos are cool, I grabbed this at King's in Austin on Tuesday, just couldn't help myself, and it was only $20:

In full view! I think that's one of the cool things about real, local hobby shops, finding cool models from other peoples' collections on consignment. And that is a new-tool kit? I didn't know, but thought it looked pretty good when I peeked in the box before grabbing it up. Shameless plug time: Every time we get to Austin, I make a point of visiting King's Hobbies. They're well-stocked both with kits and books, and normally have a nice selection of AM stuff too. But the big attraction for me is the consignment shelves. I also grabbed an Esci boxing of a Magach6 for $15, straight to the parts shelf, and a bunch of Eureka tow cable sets, mostly Merkava, for $5 each. Score! Disclaimer: I have absolutely no financial connection to King's, other than spending all my piggy-bank money there every chance I get.

Thanks gents. I also did a little work on a display base I had laying around, something I started years ago and lost interest in, ought to give it a little context....

My green wonder board? It's kinda bright, but parts sure stand out on it..... So, aside from maybe some camo nets in the turret storage bins, the model's done, and I have a base started.....
