over the last few years, I've became a serious Tristar fan! That particular kit has been in my mind for sometime now. Lets hope Hobby Boss brings the entire Tristar line back out, as they are way better than most of the others out there. gary I was building up a selection of Tristar kits. Not bit one yet but the reviews all sound great, so I will second HB bringing out the whole range.[/quote a few months back I picked up the Tristar Stug IV/L70 kit, and it's very nice. Have three (I think 3) 38T's, and maybe one other track from them. I may pony up and buy their Panzer IVD and C kits. And while on the subject, I saw a Bronco kit of a STUG munitions hauler with trailer. Putting that one on my list as well. Anybody here wanting the Roden O-1 and O-2 FAC kits in 1/32 scale? I have an O-2 parked up the road from me with access to it. Believe it or not the rear engine I setting on a work bench. Think I'm good for a couple of each. The new Revell FW190A8 really looks nice! I'll wait till the idgits get done picking their Spitfire MK.IX apart. gary

Here is what I have been splurging on. The La-Ferrari also contains the detail up set including carbon fiber decals, and the box in front lying on the floor is the Trumpeter Mig-3 Late kit. I will be building the NSX soon.

I have not seen a Bronco kit of the StuG ammo carrier but I have seen a Dragon one, the SdK.fz 252. Despite my best intentions to reduce my stash rather than grow it, my to buy list just keeps getting bigger.

Nice scores Chaos and James!
I just rounded this up a few days ago......Sorry I just couldn't help myself! It's just too cool of a model and I've seen this thing on and off my whole life. I've wanted one since I was a kid and it looks like an easy enough OOB build.

Confession: I have never bought or built a King Tiger tank!! Know very little about them as well.
Took the "Y" in the road and went East! I saw this Takom Tiger II painted white and milled around saying "I ain't buying another Tiger tank." Yep! I bought it! Looking inside is kinda scary. Must be a million parts inside the box (took about six attempts to finally get all the trees back in the box). Only disappointment I saw was the lack of a metal barrel.
So last night I'm looking at Tiger II photos. This kit is zimmerited for 505 tank battalion, and really limits you to what you can do. I can recommend this kit to anyone. gary

I saw one the otherday, and it was kinda neat. Even came with a trailer. They also do a Pz.Kw. I munitions hauler (as does Tristar), and maybe one other support vehicle. gary

forgot to tell all of you that I picked up the Roden O-1 Bird Dog kit (1/32 scale). Nice moldings, but packing left a lot to be desired! Like it well enough to want a second one. One thing I really liked was the way Roden did the wings. They're all one piece (instead of left & right side halves). Decals are boring, but at least there's one DaNang bird in the mix<g>! Now I can't wait for the O-2 kits.

This just in. My new Airbrush. It's the PS770 .18mm Mr. Airbrush Custom. Ordered it after seeing Matt's review on Youtube. Should come in handy for the camo I'm doing on my Tiger I.

Hi all A couple of acquisitions here to (hopefully) help improve my knowledge and skills The first one is my first ever Osprey purchase (don't ask). I've found it a nice read and it goes into enough detail (at least for me) without being overwhelming. It's already me some ideas on how to improve the PSC Pz IV H's I have in the stash and has even given me an idea for converting one of them to a mid-production Ausf J, so watch this space. This next one is entirely Joel's and panzerjager2's fault!! They recommended a number of books by Shep Paine. Try not to laugh but I'd not heard of him, so I looked him up. At the time of his death he was in the process of updating his original book on armour modelling to take into new materials and techniques and also to use contributions from other modeler. So I thought it would be rude not to get ahead and get a copy. So far I've been very impressed and it's given me a lot to think about! Thanks for stopping by. Andrew
