Hi Carl, man o man changement de décor the French say ! I've been building my Panther and started immediately building my WR360 locomotive. This weekend is for the toad finishing and also Monday next week I'm off duty so that's even more toad time.

I think he needs more armour, otherwise when he gets into combat he might croak... Cheers, M

M, thanks for the tip, he needs more armour indeed. But with that halberd I'm sure he can keep out of reach from his ennemies.
More soon ! AG

Just remember, when you do the armour you'll need lots of ribbits rivets... Cheers, M

Guy I was wondering what had happened to this!! Also don't forget that my son has taken an interest in this - not that I want to add to the pressure!!! Andrew

M and Andrew, thanks guys ! The toad's back on the bench, yesterday I made a start with the shoulder armor. More to be added, as there are the straps of this piece of armor.

Glad to see you put your choo-choo down long enough to get work done on your splendid toad!

Thank you Dierk, I have to admit I had a hard time putting the locomotive aside and to start sculpting again.
Good news is that it took me only five minutes to get back in the sculpting zone lol !
I was caught by the sculpting virus and I'm glad for that, I'm looking forward to sculpt my own GI's for my my Normandy diorama, but I'll use Hornet hands and heads and other stuff to complete them because I'm not skilled enough to make my own heads.

You are so natural at this. Perhaps you were a sculptor in one of your past lives... keep up with the stunning work!

Having just the one pauldron on his shoulder just adds to his character, nice!

Gulp, what would your wife say if you do not kiss her (Hey sweetie, sorry for that but my tanks are even more sweet!) Hehe, but stop now! Before tackling the paint we have to discuss the base! In what direction are you aiming (and please, do not come of with "hey, it will be a small rocky base! In this case, I skin you alive!!)

Then it would fit in the StarWars GB (Clone Wars ). What a great sculpt. About the base: he looks some kind of guard - maybe he stands in front of a castle door or some steps?

That's the idea Lucas, I'm thinking of two or three turning steps and a castle door with a wall section. I purchased a foam product to make the stairs and wall and later today I will show it here.. Thanks guys !
