Steve, slowly I'm getting there but I have to admit it's not an automatic pilot build,I've been sculpting a 70mm figure and I didn't build, paint or weather so I have to practice a lot. Thanks !
Thanks Martin !
Dierk, many people compain about Photobucket.
Btw. a fellow modeller had a remark on the headlights as they didn't seem to line up. I've already taken care of it.
More soon, thanks for your kind replies !
Best regards ! AG.

That's how it's called, a front end ! Anyways, I made a correction on the left headlight as it didn't seem to line up with the right one. Now it looks better, also on a photo. I keep fiddling washes and pigments here and there until it looks the way I like it. Four thingies have to be added and finished with paint'n dust, you can see one of them unpainted at the photo below. Have a nice weekend, best regards ! AG.

Thanks for your kind words mates, currently I'm renovating the "masta bedroom" and I have little time for modeling but still I have this update for you. Another view in the driver's cabin. The grab handles of the front steps were glued in place and practically finished. I had to leave them off until now, otherwise I would have broken them during painting and weathering stages, I know myself ! Rain marks (oil dots on wet surface method, I used white for this effect). A mixture I made for greasing up the moving parts of the running gear. * thanks again Dierk ! See you guys ! AG.

Thank you all ! Thank you guys, I'm glad you still like it. I set the locomotive aside for now and I started the build of the first of two platformwagons type SSy. It's the Sabre kit I'm building, and generally I like it. The basic structure was very straightforward and the fit perfect ! The sides of the bogies have crisp detail. These are the connectors of the bogies. And to finish for now, a helluva welcome reference photo showing a destroyed Panther recently transported back to the (destroyed) production plant. The barrel wasn't secured, I think this was rarely seen. Anyways, now I'm sure I'll use my Panther for this purpose, it will be parked on a flatbed wagon with its tracks removed. Hope you like it. Best regards !

I have a mini update as I'm currently assembling the two bogies, the photo shows one halfway the job. No extra details will be added, what's visible is quite accurate and complete. Best regards ! AG.

Thank you Leon ! The reference photo of the Panther on Platformwagen shows a destroyed right flank/heavily damaged turret, a forum friend spotted it and it's the reason why the barrel wasn't secured. OK another small update, I dryfitted the three main components of the kit. Next is finishing up the whole thing. Best regards ! AG.
