I too like the exhausts, did it a different way this time around. I actually loved the exhausts on Mike Rinaldi's Panther in the TankArt book and that was the inspiration for taking my time with them to d it right.
I have the tracks sitting in some AK track burnishing fluid at the moment. I had to use 1 1/2 bottles of the stuff as it seems one bottle wasn't quite enough to cover all the tracks in the container. Their getting nice and dark now. Should be good to go in the am and then just needs some earth pigments to finish them off.

LOLOL yeah the Grille gets a bit done here and there John.
Well the tracks are nice and black, will take pics later today.
Found my missing instruction sheet for the Tammy sd 251, and also found a model I started some time ago...the Italian M13/40 thing. No instruction on the kit so I was winging it back then. Might get her done and just go to town with the weathering. It's the OLD Italeri kit btw.

Thanks all for the tips and comments. Sorry I took so long to get back here but I knew I'd be busy the past couple days and this weekend. Just a quick update from two days ago..lol Tracks got the AK burnishing treatment, a good cleaning after that and then set to dry for a day. After it was all dry and blackened I then applied a wash using AK track wash and mixed with AK track rust pigments. This was then set aside to dry. Next will be some dust washes and earth effects to finish them off. While searching and cleaning up the shelves a bit, I found a couple of queens that were started and then placed in a box. This is the Dragon Nashorn. I have some PE ammo bins for it but might just go with the kit parts since they look ok, and much better than the parts in the older version of this model. Was thinking a faded WW and very dirty...or an Italian front model !! Wheels were already done which will save me time.

LOL, I've got nearly 2 dozen of them..lol Remember Dupes the first sign of a problem is 'denial'...."how many drinks did you have; only 2 (more like 4)". "how many cookies did you take; only 2 Mom (4)" How many shelf queens...........

LOLOLOL like I said T, I might have more kits around that were started one way or another. I get ideas in my head and drop things, but then find a pic and get other ideas. 2013 will be the year of queens. This way they are out of the way and hit ebay at the end of the year. We'll see.

Nice progress on the Tiger's shoes Rob! As for the Nashorn, well an Italian front scheme would fit the bill nicely considering. Either way it's good to do some shelf clearing to avoid clutter!
