So, I began the engine deck hatch hinges.... they are mostly "proof of concept" for the transmission hatches. The engine hatches as mentioned will be only partially seen, and the transmission hatches are gonna be in plain view:

Thanks Leon...... I always appreciate your feedback........ So here is the last Sunday update. The front glacis and brake cooling vents. Please note, on the vents, I went with "historically accurate" versus aesthetically accurate. Meaning the diameter of the vent housing seems a tad small, however it's mathematically correct...you'll see:

I think I spotted a hornet's nest, I wonder if I should poke it with a stick? Of course I'll poke it with a stick, I've got a reputation to maintain Soooo, you're going for the mathematically accurate vents and the aesthetically accurate gun barrel??? Karma + 1 to soften the blow

I suppose it's fitting that Dierk decided to poke you about the gun barrel...given well, the obvious connection. Details are looking good PJ! School year's getting close to winding up, so that should make it possible for me to pop in on a more regular basis at least during the summer.

Took a little break from the build to work on the figures..... Here is the Hauptman, (captain Gross Deutschland). You can see how he has been "assembled" from various Tamiya, Italeri, and I think Revell.

This is just a peek at what it's gonna look like.................. (mockingbirds.... his feet are positioned so his weight on the instep, so it really almost looks like his feet are backwards...ie left on the right and verse visa)
