I do apologise most sincerely!! I had no intention of taking away your need to complain... 😁😉 But just think how much time you will save over time only having to do one calculation!!! It could literally take minutes off of every build!!!! 😁😁😁😁😂😂😂😋😋😋 By the way the MG looks pretty cool. I've also started using metal barrels. Mainly because they don't snap but I must admit they look very good too!! Keep up the good work!!! Andrew

Well now that my friend Dierk found some use for my over stuffed gato....now working as my bodyguard..LOL I had time to update the "L"....
First conceptually I have switched from summer 1942 to summer 1943, so that I can mount the turret skirts, a feature I REALLY LIKE....
Next here is work on the turret ring

The first sanding of any project is kinda like waking up the day after graduation.... and you realize what you're now facing......
So here are some shots of the "post" first sand second putty. With the turret "ring" base 70 percent or so........that's just fitting it, not detailing..... Although I doubt in the end you'll see much, I gonna have three crew figures in the turret, One in each hatch and the commander on the top

Well, here is the turret progression........... New commanders cupola and sanding........and more sanding...oh and did I mention sanding....... I am really happy with the development of the cupola. It's a very hard shape to scratch-build

Looks like a Panzer III turret, that's all that counts. But I'm intrigued: what's the razor in the first picture for?

Well I been really struggling with the commanders cupola.....It has a wierd shape and features...but after some tweaking, cursing and several variants....here's where I stand......
There's still plenty of cleanup to do yet

Well campers a very not so funny thing happened along the way.............. So as I was quadruple checking the mantlet....I was shocked to see that the whole dang-blasted thing was crooked...and i do mean CROOKED. So it was back to the drawing exacto,(as it were). Well four versions later....viala
The third F-UP i used as the inner piece of the mantlet. Just incase you were wondering
