PRODUCT PLACEMENT.... My dear friend from Germany, how on this semi green earth can you accuse me of siding with corporate America........ I'm just a simple modeler, working on my humble builds.... Take for example my latest build.........look at the detailed work put into this, and then tell me I do product placement...it's preposterous, luda fisk I tell you, luda fisk...........( oh I meant ludacris)

So, I'm nursing a sore foot, which means no household chores BUT plenty of bench time for the Ausf L..... With that here is the smoke/S mine launchers.

So a couple things about this update........... So while reviewing the pic's I noticed I used the wrong reference point for the smoke/S mine launchers. The line I used was for the skirts arms....@#%$#@&*%$# GD California wine mixer..... Anyway that meant the launchers had to come off. Well that turned out OK, the reason being that as I started designing the Skirt arms. I also got a chance to add a host of details to the launchers.
So here is the Storage-bin mounted to the turret. PLEASE NOTE, most of the lower detail on the rear of the turret including the pistol ports, and storage-bin will only be partly visible after the skirts and stowage is added..............

More amazing progress PJ!! Things are shaping up nicely! Biggest problem with the turret armor other than hiding the details somewhat is...painting when they're on! LOL Trying to avoid some of that right now on a Mark IV I am working on. Keep up the great work! p.s. Envelope in now inbound! Sorry for the delay...post never showed up on Sat. Damn Temps!

TRM, NO WORRIES...I am very grateful... Thanks for the kind words. The really funny thing is I am the biggest impediment to this build. Either by too much too soon, or trying to "re-invent the wheel" LOLAM

Thanks...nd you're welcome! LOL...both too much too soon and re-inventing stuff will get us all in the end my friend! Especially when it comes to these types of tanks! I hate anything more than a couple sub-assemblies when I paint but sometimes it needs to be done!

So as part of my recently diagnosed illness PMCB, I began work on what for me has become my "signature", which is a large stowage box at the rear of the vehicle....... That sickness began many moon ago, when I first took my Monogram M3 Half-Track rear stowage box and mounted it on an Airfix 250....anyway: This is what will eventually be at the rear of the Ausf L......
