Thanks Leon. The straps look a tad big right now.....but I think that's just poor photography on my part

Good evening PJ2. Are you sure you don't have to have an FFL to be producing an MP40? Amazing detail on that my good man.

Thank you kind sir...... It has been a long trial and error journey to get where I am with things like the MP40. Long ago when I did the MarderII I added 45 pieces to the MG34...... Man that wasn't fun, BUT I learned a ton......
Thanks again..... Bye the Bye, how come we haven't seen anything from you in a bit???

Some people might say that in his case, FFL would mean Fanatic Fabricator on the Loose! ;<)

Here is a couple of semi good shots of the shoulder boards and flashlight. I used HO gauge rivets for the rank insignia .......

Last little bit for today...... Worked on the Ausf L crew's gear, and the Infantry Officer's flashlight.

Bye the Bye, that's not the standard Bread-bag, it's a gearbag common to non-infantry personnel

In the 'anal-rivet-counting-modelling-stakes' you beat me hands down - and I mean that in a good way

So this figure is leftover from the Ferdinand. He is my Radio Operator, a almost 100 percent scratch built figure..ALMOST. The radio is 100 percent scratch. I did use the 1/25th Tamiya US Radio operator's radio as BASE for scale, I didn't use any of the parts for my radio.....

Looking good PJ! Looks like he's yelling "Klaus, you shiesskopf, where's my pilsner?" The word you're looking for is 'Scheißkopf' the one you used means 'shoothead'

Looking good PJ! Dierk, amazing how similar they still end up being despite the change in spelling, eh?

Looking good PJ! Dierk, amazing how similar they still end up being despite the change in spelling, eh? One of the many traps for the unwary set by the German langue: 'ei' pronounced like the English letter 'i', 'ie' on the other hand sounds like 'ee' - not to mention when you start translating literally from English to German: 'I am warm' (ich bin warm) in German means 'I'm gay' 'I'm cold' (ich bin kalt) menas 'I'm frigid' - it's a minefiled I telly ya...

My German is so rusty, BUT I do remember that no language, (specially German) translates directly like we speak in english.
Anyway, here is more of Herr Hauptman....he's getting closer, but still needs work:

Well, this update is really for Captfue, because he's a figure guy. Figures have always been a sore spot with me. I really like what they add, BUT man o man are they a pain to create. So here is Hauptman Von Schlepp's belt buckle update:
I'm probably going back to the vehicle in the next couple of days.......
