Dave, Leon Thank you both.
Here's the funny HA HA.... I am doing just that. There are "a couple" of things I had to tweek to make the build possible. Least of which is the interior of the turret. Now add the map case to the Hauptmann, (not something normally worn by Panzer Commanders, but what the hell....). Like you say, "it's my build and I'll cry if I want too" LOL

Well, this one is again for my buddy Steve who lives way over east of the Cascades. I've been trying to focus in on the Gatling-Gun, BUT....... I setup the third crewman. He is gonna be a while in the completion...but what the heck. Also been working on the Hauptmann's German Cross in gold.... Pictures aren't that great: What's new, right

Well, Hell PJ2. The commander needs to know where the line of departure is, so a mapcase might be a good thing to have!

Just a quickie update on the crew and a new box for the rear deck stowage. I had the bx cast, then I add the details, this way they are never really the same.

Thanks Dave, Joel, and Leon...... They are "something" sometimes I like em sometimes I want to drop kick em.....
So here is the latest actually...... I just started taking measurements for the side escape hatches. The funny HA HA is even though this is called an "early Ausf L" I'm not totally sold on the hatches.... So they may or may not appear on the final production....

Steve, THANK YOU..... I was beginning to worry, I hadn't heard from you in a while..... Hope things are good on that side of the state.....out here on the coast we lost power for abooot an hour or so. Wow, only an hour, eh? We had our inet go down for 11 days from the 3rd to the 14th after a snow storm. Then when the techies finally got to the inet tower they found the equip fried. Now that was a hoot! I had a lot of catch-up to play. The price we pay to live in paradise, we just send up smoke signals, lol. Cheers, Ski.

So, with these shots, I am hoping you can see the details of the vision blocks. What I did was: highlighted the slits with semi gloss black, followed then with clear to simulate the outside of the vision block.....if that makes sense.

JPC, Todd, THANK YOU.......... So, here is the part that is gonna kill me......... I love the Panzer Grey with the German Yellow over spray. Very common during the early summer of 1943. So that means i am gonna dry brush and weather the Grey, then over spray it with yellow and start all over....man I must be nuts...
