Unless I am misvisualizing the photo, you might need to add some taper to the main gun, Joel.

PJ2, I meant no offense with my comment about the main gun. With all the spectacular work that you are doing, I believed that you would want to taper the barrel. If I have caused you any offense, I most sincerely apologize, Joel.

TRM, THANK YOU............. Mr Murphy's Law....If I build it, I'll break it..........
Joel, in the Fire Service we used to say, (all the time), "just because a message was sent one way, doesn't mean it was received that way". No worries.
Here is a wee update. I did a pre-painting on the mantlet.....have no fear I'll be stripping it off pretty darn soonnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnn

TRM,
Thanks.... My goal is to be able to compete this build at an AMPS...Hopefully at a Northwest show?
But that's a trillion parts from now.

Nice work my friend! Today I get to see the pics you posted yesterday, but not the most recent ones so, I suppose I'll coment on them tomorrow?

Dierk, my overseas friend. Here's the problem for me........... THE GD turret. Man it's like a whole build of Panzer IV wheels, you know they just GO ON AND ON AND ON...in fact I'm now convinced that the build is a Twilight Zone episode...........
But I persevere.....
More pic's today, or is that tomorrow for you?? Whitney

Best of luck on the travels with this one to the show! Maybe we might see the AMPS Nationals on the left coast at some point and I will get to see it in person! Putting the finishing touches on a pack job for AMPS right now! Fours days surmountable to accidentally locking junkie in a CVS Pharmacy over night!

In my experience just about any build can turn into an episode of the Twiglet Zone (do you have Twiglets on your side of the pond? ) if you let it. Actually, got to see the pics on the second attempt, but who knows about the next lot...today...tomorrow...the answer is 42.

Dierk, Leon: Gentleman THANK YOU again for the kind words....... I guess it's a case of "can't see the forest through all the darn trees". I've decided once I get the second set of Skirt braces and hatches mounted I'm gonna put the 3 aside for a wee bit....maybe toy with the Berge....just to get a perspective.....
Thanks again.

I am impressed, this is shaping up nicely. I do have one nit pic. The roof armored ventilator looks too big, and is secured with recessed screws, not raised bolts. Again some impressive skill here.

J- I really didn't take this as IPMS nitpicking.... Just know the stinking ventilator has been a sore subject in the PZ2 household....... So I did redo the vent for this post...it's not complete nor is the pick that great....(now that's a shocker)...............
