The actual correct ratio is...........1 x per glass to 1 individual strip...........i equate that too......3 glasses per side which is 6 glasses per wheel......X2 = 12 glasses..............does that sound good enough to ya Mence.............does to me ;D ;D ;D Top job mate , they look fabulous

Hey, no problems T, we're all busy people plus the forum is so active it's hard to keep up at the best of times! The wheels I'm quite please with, they are real easy to foul up. Hello Robmeister, thanks buddy, all behind me now! With the wheel finished, I could finish assembling the swing arm and installing the whole assembly. The hugger will be fitted later when I decide what finish I want. Then onto the front end, first the forks. Most of this is contained in the detail up set. All bar the lower parts are anodised metal in three different colours. My pic doesn't do them justice, they look great! Cheers guys.

Hi gents, thank you, happy with progress!
Paul, Microsol is available from the online seller HANNANTS amongst others and is £2.99 a bottle plus postage. A bottle will last you ages. Make sure you get Microsol and not Microset as they do slightly different things and I find Mircoset a bit too agressive on the delicate decals you typically find in Tamiya kits.
If you need a steer on how to use it, drop me a PM and I will bore you some more...

Hi T, glad to see ya still sticking with me! Ok, front end in, calipers and brake lines added followed by the assmbled wheel and mudguard. Remainder of the bits added, steering damper, rear brake lines etc. The hugger is fully decal'd up, still undecided on it so its fitted with PVA for the time being. The box is now empty except for four screws and some decals. Next comes the scary bit...

Very kind of you guys, thank you.
Decals have been started (there's a total of 65 or more) and so far, dare I say, things are going well.
Stay tuned as I head for the final hurdle!

Hi chaps. Decals done, the Hibiscus flowers are a real pain and take a fair amount of effort (and Microsol) to settle them. Tyre decals weren't fitted, they flatly refused to do as the instructions suggested. Final assembly completed, fairly happy with the result . Left hand side of the fairing doesn't fit as well as the other, I think I know the problem so will sort it. Popped a couple more images in the GALLERY section. Appreciate your company through the resurrection of this one, back soon with something new...
