First problem has manifested itself early, Tamiya did a limited edition 'correct' lime green for this but that's long gone. Kind wanted to do a rattle can spray job as it's a tad easier than AB but may have to resort to Zero's colour match and go the long way round...

Haha, wouldn't be right without you mate! It's not quite the level of the RC166 but nevertheless it's pretty slick and bound to look neat on the shelf.

Very green!, despite it's very lacklustre racing history, it makes a neat subject to model.

Err, yes and no, tried Halfrauds and had little success, might just bight the bullet get Zero's colour match, that way I know I'm safe. Either that or a can ot Tamiya's TS-52...

Haha!
Probably mate, on these kits, the detail up set is a real benefit, the finish on the anodised parts is so hard to replicate that it's the only way to go.

Hi CB.
I am torn between Zero paint and Tamiya TS fella, I think I will order a tin of TS as I reckon it should be a tad easier to deal with.

So here's where we start... Firstly the green bits, best not tackled first thing in the morning or with a hangover... Then the black parts. And the silver grey parts. And lastly, the bits and pieces, small bag containing tyres, polycaps, spring, screwdriver and screws, clear parts, decals and the detail up set previously mentioned. A nice selection, more than enough to keep me quiet...

Starting soon fella, a rattle can of TS-52 Candy Lime Green arrived today so I'm good to go I think . I can't seem to find out whether it's painted in a normal or Candy so I will have to do some more searching before I commit.

Hi Paul, to be honest all the newer ones are very good, any one of Tamiya's kits after #14070 seems to improve on what is already a great range so really you can't go wrong, just make sure you share whatever you get with us! :-)
