Thanks Dicky. Have to say I'm fairly pleased with the way the green has gone on.
No, I don't tackle 1:1 scale paint as I don't have a suitable area to do it in. I confine myself to smaller parts in the garage but the big shiny bits I leave to the pro's!

Thanks fella, as they say 'it's all in the preparation'. I do spend a lot of time in that area so I guess its beginning to pay off! Right, not much of an update but here goes. Last part of the bodywork prep is to paint what shouldn't be green....err...another colour! I was going to spray it but my courage abandoned me so it was out with the brushes. For what little of it you will see, the finish is just about acceptable. Thanks guys.

Hi Boo
Yes, Lifecolor is generally my choice these days and brush paints very easily. It also dries very matt unlike Tamiya. Nothing added fella, just give it a good stir...

Hi Boo.
Access to the Kawasaki is a touch limited at present but what I have got to hand is a yet to be built '09 Yamaha YZR which, if tyre technology is anything to go by should be the widest as its the most recent?
Anyway, no tyre measurements embossed on the tyre itself but measuring the width (at its widest point) is 16.5mm

Yes Boo, that's the one but I plan to build mine in a different, very cool livery...
