Hello chaps, glad you all approve. Quick one for you. Rear suspension unit assembled and painted, then attached to the frame. The pic highlights my slightly untidy painting of some finer areas, I promise my shoddy work will be sorted before too long...

Right, engine. 18 parts, 7 colours, 2 of those specially mixed. All goes together in Tamiya's usual style but does have a couple of join seams, I have left them as they won't be seen. Thanks for following...

Thanks Dicky.
Yes, the blue bit is to replicate a section of flexible hose used on the real thing, it forms part of the cooling system.

;D
I dry fitted the rad earlier just to see what the fit against the hose would be like, shouldn't have bothered, being Tamiya it's perfect.
Next up are the four exhausts and more to do round the back end, back soon.

And here it is. Rear wheel time. Pinstriping on the rear wheel and the rest of the bits and pieces assembled and painted. Bit more 'sol on the striping to settle them down a bit more. And that lot installed in the frame. Plenty of screws and one large nut hold it all in place but it is fiddly, routing and connecting the rear brake hose will test the patience of a saint. Need to tidy some tatty paintwork before pressing on. Thanks for looking...

Hi chaps, as always, much obliged! And onwards... Front end in, forks sorted, wheel, built and pinstriped. Managed to make the disc brakes look a bit better this time using my new compass cutter to make some masks. There are decals in the kit for the lettering on the brake calipers but I found it easier to paint the lettering already molded into them. Apart from that, steering damper, handlebars and all pipes and hoses added. Oh, and the Paddock Stand otherwise the whole damn lot would fall over! That's about it, there will now be a fair delay as I try to get a half decent colour coat on the bodywork... Thanks for sticking with me guys, I do appreciate it.

Thanks Dicky . Paddock stand is supplied in the kit. The wheels come on the clear sprue so a quick splash of blue on the hubs and clear green on the tyres and we're good to go!

Chaps. Once again my humble thanks for your kind comments. Boots, wait till you see the next puppy! Right, bodywork. What started out as Green, turned Grey, then White then back to Green again...albeit a slightly different shade. Three mist coats 20 minutes apart followed by a 'wet coat' 20 minutes after that and it's all looking rather splendid. Will leave a couple of days to fully harden before addressing any glaring imperfections. Only part missing from the pic is the front fender as that needs to be painted black. Thanks again guys.
