These RCs are getting bigger and bigger. May as well be 1:1. Then may as well sit in it.

I'm not at all a "car guy"...but I do find some to be pretty neat! Yesterday, my daughter called, in need of some help...got the tractor stuck at the stable she works at (I got it free....easy!). On the way out there, I past at least 10 "old timey motor cars". On the way home, I was in line behind a good dozen or so (hard to get a decent pic while driving)... I was hoping to get a better pic at the round-about...but... In the actual wild.... We've been seeing our resident fox a lot more frequently. Haven't seen any of the kits in a few weeks (I do believe 3 of the 5 didn't make it...the other 2... ...haven't been seeing them) This is about 35 yards from the back deck (cell phone pic, through binoc's)

The cars are pretty neat - not my cup of tea but a neighbor growing up had a couple of restored Hupmobiles - like 1914 or so. Went for a ride in one and he couldn't stop coming over the backside of an overpass on those pizza tires...lol Fun ride. He had sprint car origins and last time I saw him he was restoring vintage tractors so - really cool dude. That fox looks skinny and hungry. The cayotes around here look like healthy pets... probably because they eat them!

Fewer and fewer around as time goes on that are actually on the road. What's even scarier than that is the fact that I used to see the Fox body 5.0 Mustang like everywhere and now you rarely see 'em anymore. Speaking of Fox.....that's a great picture of that fox you got bud.

Some Aeritalia G.222s in storage at Ramstein Airbase in 2016. All of them were scrapped following their complete failure in Afghanistan. Took the picture after finishing working on AF C-21s that day.

I did a little bit of research on these and found out that they had a very tumultuous existence. Great picture eagle!!

Went out to the hunting property last weekend. The owner had his Willy's out! He was an MP, back in the early 60's. He's had this since the 80's, did a full restoration, and added a heater to the ceiling to blow on the windshield. He really only ever took it out for parades, but mainly used it to plow his driveway, up until last year. He has a very hard time getting in/out, so he picked up a regular Jeep for his plow. We have the "moving wall" Vietnam Memorial in town...just over the hill, at the soccer field parking lot (Side note: Site of the original family homestead, since 1833). They've been selling Huey rides...and they've been flying around the house all day... Mom called, said that Dad heard it and lit right up (former Huey pilot...and Parkinsons is not treating him well) On a whim, I snuck off up north again, Monday afternoon(came home yesterday). Fished Manistee Lake and the river out to Lake Michigan, tues a.m....I caught 1 little rock bass. For the evening, I just went out to the lighthouse pier to fish. Miffed by the amount of fishing and complete lack of salmon catching...I caught myself wondering what the hell I'm doing, questioning why I'm doing it, and contemplating throwing in the towel on this source of much frustration. Then it hit me... THIS is why!!! Lake Michigan King Salmon!!! I don't even like them for eating (daughter and parents get it)...but the challenge in catching a big fish that is out of feeding mode, the following fight, and getting it into your hands...is a trifecta of awesomeness!!!
