Spraying a coat of flat clear on the kits is probably one of stages that I enjoy the most because it makes everything look better especially the camo! In your case you nailed it… loving the camo more now.

Because I use tinted future as my first step in weathering all parts it was a high semi gloss to pure gloss up the the Dullcote, This makes the change even more dramatic. I often am just hoping that the base colours are what I want until it gets sprayed.

And now a well worked in layer of sand pigment. Just one more coat of flat and it is DONE! I could probably squeeze in another there is so much time left.

Two last in process pics at about 99% done. Will get 3 nicer shots up on the GB summery and a pile in the completed armor sub forum. Thanks for your support and encouragement through this build!

I'm no kind of armor builder but I can most certainly see that there was a TON of work that went into this gem of a build Tony. Beautiful detailing, paint and weathering throughout to make for a most convincing build. You've really depicted an ongoing repair scene with this whole thing quite well brother.

It was truly a pleasure to follow along with this build. Headed over to check out the finished product now.

Splendid!! Also way to hang in there on a busy and difficult kit. I'll be using AM tracks when I do mine for sure

Stunning work!!! I had so much following your build since the first day. I better get busy to finish mine but my parents from Florida is in town and it is not helping at all. LOL It was really yourself and the few others that commented that helped me push through this as quickly as I did. I would normally have two or three going at once and this build would languish in the background while I polished off some easier quick builds. I could only procrastinate so long on those tracks though since I knew people were truly waiting with interest for what was next. None of my family nor friends could care less about my builds and my local model club would say I had the wrong rifles or it should have 15/mm wheel bolts not kit supplied 5/8th ones for the day the model was depicted. To find a group that actually enjoys looking and is at the same time not worried about the minute "facts" is refreshing.

I am fortunate that my local club is mostly made of wingy builders so they are often clueless about armor builds. Maybe you should look into moving to Indiana one day.

🤣😂🤣That was freaking hilarious! I do believe it was taken in Indiana because everything looks correct! Even more fun is it was written and performed by a Canadian! People remember all the rock stuff from the sixties and seventies that have lasted the years but have forgotten all the pop music that actually topped the charts back then. This was a huge top ten hit in 1970.
