With the seats installed that office will look wonderful under the canopy, watching for more!

Thanks guys! I've learned how to tint the canopy so I'll be trying that out. Thankfully it came with a spare canopy to test it on.

Gloss coated the cockpit so that I can weather it.

And here it is! I used Tamiya Black Panel Liner.

Got the cockpit flat coated and installed in one side of the fuselage. Fits great everywhere except one back corner. Can't for the life of me figure out why it's like that. And there's no way to get it in position without screwing everything else up. Any ideas?

Try building up the short spot with styrene strip? Perhaps a better question is how visible is this gonna be with the canopy in place?

Not sure how much will be seen. It'll obscure some of it.

Me, I'd try a dry fit to get an idea...if the gap is hidden well enough it won't be worth messing with

I have a project like this in mind and have the cutting Edge wing fold set. I'll have to look for the Wolfpack and Aires sets, they look pretty good. Just one more kit in the line, but I like the tadpole looks of the EA-6B.

All right, fess up how'd ya fix the problem? Absolute brute force!!! Actually I'm not. I don't think anyone's going to see it and if they do, oh well.

Most of the fuselage is now glued up. Just have a couple of bottom inserts to add.

I've got a lot of sanding and filling coming up. Need to add some of the resin updates parts.

Got the two main resin pieces glued on. The rest are mostly antennas and air scoops. I forgot to sand away some spots on the bottom that I'll have to get to next.

Ok I gotta question. There's a spot on the bottom where I had to cut out a section for the update. I put a piece of plastic card on the inside of the part but I still need to fill the hole. What do you think is the best way to fill it? I've thought about Milliput. Oh and the black mark is super glue.

That would work. I'd use Squadron green putty but only 'cause that's what I have on hand

What do you think is the best way to fill it? I've thought about Milliput. Oh and the black mark is super glue. I would suggest filling most of it with a piece of styrene. That will reduce the risk of the putty cracking later. It’ll also save you some time since you won’t have nearly as big of an issue with the putty shrinking back and having to refill it. A littly of that black ca you have there over the top of it and it will sand out really nice and be invisible 👍

I would use a piece of super thin sheet styrene and cover that whole section right to the panel lines. Once the glue was well set I would them sand the edges down to almost nothing so the patch matches the rest of the panels.
