Of course, I needed to go overboard like I always do, so I bought and Eduard engine to go with my Eduard kit.....at almost the same price as the kit So about that possable mustang GB. When I ran mine on that other site, I allowed cars as well. Anything with the name Mustang. I may be up for it. I'm not really as crazy about them anymore, but I have one or two. Would the A36 count?

Aside from the dive flaps, which were often wired shut in service, it is nearly identical to one version or another of the Allison engined types, including the cowl chin guns.

Hell yeah! 100% no brainer, I'm in!! Think I have about a dozen or so kits to choose from, so I'll have to let you know. I have to finish the A8 that I am stuck on right now and will have to get it done by the spring, so that is going to be a challenge for me. Think that it will be a D-9 in 1/48th but more to follow. Matt I have decided that I will be building an Eduard Fw-190D-9 "Chevron-Dot" from Stab II, JG 6 based in Furth, Germany in May of '45. I have an overtrees boxing and EagleCals decals for the markings. I think that I might have AM instrument panel that will work as well, but have to check the stash to confirm.

I can't wait to see what you've got in store for us with that D-9 of yours old friend.

OK, I'm in with this oldie. Its been in the stash for years and if I mess it up I won't be out much. I guess I got in under the wire but I won't be able to start till I get another project finished up. I haven't built a plane in years.

Now THAT is going to be a great build that I think you'll be happy with John. That's actually a Hasegawa kit in a Revell Boxing with a few extra goodies. Start a thread up on that one under the GB header pal and lets get this party started!!

All the metal bits were replaced with injection molded parts by Monogram for the Promodeler issue, just like on their 190D-11 kit.

I’ll be pulling my Hase 1/32 Dora 9 down from the stash, and dusting it off in preparation for Jan 1! I also found an aftermarket decal sheet for JV 44 birds in the decal folder. I forgot if I bought anything else; I’ll need to peek in the kit box. Box pulled, dusted, inspected, and photographed “proof picture” of unstarted kit. This one will be a simple build, to focus on just building a nice model, like in the old days. AM decals are needed though, due to Hasegawa printing white as a cream color. Standing by for the order to scramble.

Coming from Australia, it's already the new year so do that mean I get a head start? But I'll by going by the finish time where you guys are !!!!!

Alright, thanks to Amazon and the good old USPS, I'm ready.... except I'll be gone until the 14th of January so won't get to start before then. Nonetheless, this is now on the bench:

Well now I can reveal mine. I don't have the box but this is the kit and issue I will be doing. No aftermarket, no additions, NOTHING! As far away from most of the builds planed here as you can get. And ogrejohn thought HE was doing an oldie.

Hey Joe, 406 Silverado , I'm going to change kits on you before I get started. I'm going with the 1/72 Aoshima Ta-152 instead of the Dragon kit. It's a bit cleaner mold and a bit more simple. I've got some AM stuff to enhance some of it's shortcomings. I'll get my GB thread going and be getting a start on this in short order I've got the changes made Joe. I'll be interested in seeing how this Aoshima kit pans out for you. Can you post some sprue shots of this one? Just curious to see the layout is all.

Good morning. I've narrowed it down to this beastie. The Ta 152 H-0 by Zoukei-Mura. At this scale, I'm not sure where I'll place it when finished, but that is a later problem. I'll get started on it after I finish the Stuka. Cheers Dave

I'm in and like several others will do an Eduard D-9. Probably opened up because, as others have said, kits that are made to be open quite often are difficult to close up. This will be my first 190 after countless 109s. Not sure why I never got around to doing one but this seems like a good time.
Cheers, Jay
