Ok gents, 4 hours in and I’m just about ready to shoot the dark yellow coat. After that comes more disks before the final color of red brown. After that, I’ll haphazardly slap down some ambush dots. 🍻  |

That is one of those situations where I need total focus on what I'm doing or I'd end up with a single colored tank. I've only pulled off an ambush scheme once on a King Tiger commission build. Turned out AWESOME but I'm not sure I can do it again. Sure looking forward to seeing yours done.

Phase II is complete. Now a quick buff of the color with a microfiber towel then I’ll spray a matte coat to protect the two previous color applications. Then, it’s back to punching holes for the brown color. 🤨  |

It’s tedious but I’m making a “negative” image of each disk needed and going to re-mask certain areas so the brown fits seamlessly. I tried applying liquid mask with a detail brush, but couldn’t get the points fine enough for my eye to be comfortable with.  |
