I got myself a couple of late Christmas presents. The French had some fantastically weird bombers between the wars that are mostly covered by the two books on the left. Also trying out Onedrive as a photo hosting option to see how that works out. Sweet! You all are on a roll to start out 2024!

Looks like a nice light. LED lighting really has become a huge game changer for work space lighting. I like lots of light when I work and I'd bake like a cupcake in an EZ Bake oven if I had to use incandescent or halogen like the old days.

Nice haul there, I really like the German heavy tractor and Japanese "jeep". I'd take a 1-1 of either just for cruising around town.

aaronw Tamiya actually makes a kit that includes both the German tractor and the 88mm flak. I preferred to get them both separate because you get wayyyy more little nicknacks

Thanks Paul, not my first MFH build but, first 1/12 scale one. I already purchased a proper small block Ford V8 for it since the kit piece is not an accurate depiction. I'm thinking perhaps next yr around this time for a start on it. Have a few other ideas rattling around in my head that I have to do first...

Belated gift from my boys has arrived... it was shipped directly from China because my boys couldn't find one in stock here in USA. Of course the package arrived damaged but the kit itself looks OK. Upon initial inspection I was totally blown away by the details the kit has to offer. It made me glad that I waited for it to come out instead of buying one by Takom.
I'd like to get this one. Flory Models did an unboxing video of this and the Takom and compared the two kits.

I have a very similar one.... Certainly the stand is the same. Very bright is an understatement. In fact it's so bright it is more than capable of lighting the inside of my spray booth though the semi transparent cover. ATB. Andrew

I think you will like it very much! Excellent details especially the engines and stuff on the side if you want them to be visible. And you have an option to open or fold the blades. I think I will go for folded blades option just to save space. LOL I am so glad I waited… I usually like Meng better than Takom in most cases.

Quite the detail set! Someone on here told me about iceman collections... WOW WOW WOW Here's a 392 hemi, hi-rise intake for my Challenger Garlits drag pak along with a few other parts for a special project I have planned. Beautiful stuff. Just take my money!

I am way behind on acknowledging everyone's new additions this year. I am duly impressed with what has been acquired by the members so far. Really fantastic kits that I hope to see featured here on MSC soon. Superb effort to all. I have only added one thing so far this year with the X-mas cash I received. After having seen Brian and Joe's recommendations I pulled the trigger on a Dispaie mini grinder and bits. I have yet to put it to actual use, but I like what came out of the box.
